White Phosphorus Grenade Should Be Fixed & Balanced ELSE Remove Completely

Alright WP grenade is so broken!!! NUMBER 1 PROBLEM is that it can damage through walls!!! We all know on the Omaha beach maps that there are a lot of bunker points with more than half a meter walls xD, but all the allied need to do is spam the roof and were all gonna die, WTF is that!!! THEY SHOULD REMOVE THIS WEAPON UNTIL THEY FIX THIS SHIT!!! Second is when they fix that wall problem, they should limit it, like only 2 WP per squad. Do you agree guys? If you dont agree then youre guilty of using this exploit LMAO (also known as weak, oops ). Whenever I see an enemy that spam 12 WP grenades I instantly quit the round, in my experience we never won a game with an enemy that spams WP grenades…

The WP grenade smoke is particle effect. Making the particle effect collide with walls is expensive in term of computation.

I might be wrong but it seem that the area of the particle effect itself deal damage when the player is inside that cloud sphere. If that’s the case they should have made an invisible collider inside the the particles cloud, like a frag grenade collider for example. Make that deal the damage in waves instead of the smoke cloud as it can go through wall.

Oh trust me, I agree 110%. Every campaign with WP has turned into a spam of these things. The ONLY way that I have found to “counter” them is to get as many AP mines down as possible and hope they die to them before they can throw WP. Even then it only lasts so long.

The best thing devs can do is delete WP and refund the silver weapon cards back to players.

after many games like some are referring to, i may have bought enough to equip every toon with 1, lol

But am very conscious of there use, unlike some, i use for in front of the obj, not the obj :smiley:

PS i didn’t equip all with them though, as i still like to blow up tanks, with ex packs :slight_smile:

The point though is that the average player doesn’t pay attention at all. They abuse how wide of an area is hit, including through walls, so they just have to throw it in a general direction usually.

yah thats probably how it works. its actually acceptable for me as long as its a house or something with lots of entrance and 1-2 nades per squad. but when i experienced the omaha beach map (the map which the 2nd point is like a lighthouse) where were all inside and someone spammed the roof, we all died inside, i even crawled thinking it wont reach me but still died, that was insane ahahaha. i rage quit then i posted this thread ahahahahahahaha

anyway, the only thing WP grenades need, is to remove the ability of burning or gassing people though floors/walls.

that’s the only issue.

Lol WP Grenade are ridiculous right now, It was a big mistake from the Devs to have integrated these in the game. Heck seen peoples build their rifleman squad so that all their soldiers carry 3 WP Grenades each so yeah… A spam of 27 WP Grenades on a capture point is bloody ridiculous when they go to capture it and i think the WP Smoke does only half damage to friendlies.
