Damn your inner Veekay is breaking out.
But no 100%, unless I can set weapon presets depending on the campaign, I will never use it. The only reason Im doing the event is for the silver rewards which are nice, I need them since broke post gambling.

if this weapon changed depending on map, I would consider using it but right now its just worthless.

Do you know that you could simply ignore the event if you don’t like the idea of white washed weapon in MM that can put you outside of snowy maps?
The weapon looks trash. Worse than the Red PPS and that at least has better dmg.

Same, cool idea, but campaign specific weapon skins are more appreciated than one that’ll stay winterized even when the four games I’ll have that day are three Berlin and one Normandy.
I’ll absolutely refuse use them until some system is in place to guarantee that climate specific weapon edits and vehicle skins don’t show up where they aren’t meant to!

I wasn’t intending on playing the event thing to get that putrid gun, but I had six unused boosters I needed to use so I just started playing and in short order was the not so proud owner of the ugliest MP40 I have ever seen. 
The ugly MP40 painted white looks like a training gun, and reminds me of my US Air Force basic training days where we used M16’s that were painted blue. Blue meaning they were non functional and didn’t shoot and were just for training. I guess the Air Force didn’t want us going all mental and blowing away our Training Instructor like Pvt. Pile did in Full Metal Jacket.

well, you’re kinda playing at the lowest possible graphic. but yeah, normally it doesn’t look that bad.
but i for once like it.
especially for my larp loadouts.
although, can’t really deny it will look somewhat out of place for anyone else who plays in other environments.
so, technically should be an universal skin appliable in a new tab kinda like tank camo presets on WT.
would be smarter. but we don’t do smart things around here.

i mean, such feature should be improved.
like a own dedicated skin page.
where for example, you can assign ALL current equipped MP40s specific sets of rules.
for example,
i want that all mp40s equipped over moscow and ardenne looks white, but rzhev / stalingrad default appearance.
prolly too complicated anyway.
( even though older games have done it from decades by now )

Not all of us can afford 3080s. I for one use a 1650 and am lucky to play on low with a consistent 60 fps

3060 are around 200 rn I think and if you look around you might get a 3080 under 300 bucks if youre lucky lol

Wdym complicated, they are already doing it for uniform customisations…per campaign specific…
it is complicated because such system would work very differently from that one.
it would need to be further " sectioned " depending on the presets and actual squads.
i don’t imagine we would see such a thing in our life time.
( also, campaign presets are horrible and don’t actually work. hell you have shared items that you apparently need to buy more than once on the same guy. like faces or helmets. )
