Trying to unlock some key stuff like Shermans and Thimpsons for the 'Muricans before the Big Update drops (been mostly playing Moscow, Berlin and Stalingrad), and from what I can tell the Freedom Lovers get shafted in every campaign on EU servers.
Maybe some less than others?
tunisia is by far the easiest currently. i recommend skipping all the bad maps there and playing only the good ones, this way you’ll have a lot of fun in this underrated campaign.

I don’t think usa faction will get shafted. Opposite of that in fact.
Remember teams will be facing war thunder br… Axis had the advantage only because it could bring end lvl stuff.
So maybe after the conversion, the best br vehicles axis will be able to bring to face jumbos, will be pz4h (for example). So no more big advantage. I predict that more ppl will play as usa than right now.
Especially after ppl got deprived of the faction for so long (just wasn’t fun, too one sided). Usa faction is fun to play.
Ofc, newcomers will still get mowed down by veterans, this will never change unlike df simps like to think. It will just mean equipment will be in the same range.
I mean that they are getting shafted currently. At least from my experience in Normandy and Pacific on EU servers.

Right now? Yes, they are. I believe it’s because ppl prepare their axis before the merge: axis Germany will be the one faction that can face not one, not even 2, but 3 possible enemy factions (Usa, Soviets, Brits). They need to unlock their stuff now.
Usa should have it better after the war thunder conversion: weapon to weapon, Usa is not weaker than axis (lvl or br wise). Their vehicles might even be better (at low to mid br) and who knows what br every vehicles will be in the first place.
I’ll probably become a Usa faction main after the conversion… Just because I miss the faction a lot. Just finished grinding Japan which I’ll be able to ditch after the conversion (tae se vs m13 spam, without chi ha kaysomething, nor type 5 or 4 rockets, nor the zero plane? Nothing to help compensate? F*** off. Usa I’ll remain.)
normandy allies is relatively good now… considering shit teams i had when i grinded, there is noticeable difference in quality for the better.

Allies Pacific on EU server has mostly bots so it’s not a great idea unless you are masochist like me. But it was still more enjoyable than awful Berlin campaign (those maps are making me physically sick)
The possibility of Tuesday being the update is likely. so you have a day and a half before then to get what you want out of the campaign you need.
Pacific US is waste of time even with players. Gear is crap/ copy+paste from Normandy and its not worth the stress and cope for the Johnson LMG and a flamer Stuart.
Allies Tunisia is decent since more players and also British stuff. Only planes suck.
Normandy EU has more Allied players, probably because Axis finished and/ or are busy trolling Soviets in Berlin. They also have Jumbo, M2, M1919, 76mm Sherman, P-47 and the best, M18… pfff P-51.

Not really because the QnA wasnt relased yet and I doubt that they release it one day before the release though it wouldnt be really suprising as well.
Majority playing as germany is good.
Germany fought in 3 fronts ( mediterranean, east, west) against EVERYONE
Majority of the matches will be in these three front maps against mostly germans.
If at least half of the playerbase dont play germany, we will have serious balance issues.
And i am not even counting entire fricking eastern front. That alone has tons of map materials that you can create an entire game just based on east front.
Every other axis power also european except japan so axis minor playerbase also important.
Japan can not satisfy western allies alone(uk us) . They are mid tier tech at best.
A lot of sweatlords with meta weapon will want to face equal rival.

Probably the player who want to umlock high tier thing migrated to normandy allies, and other who eant to unlcok germany migeated to berlin.
Tunisia, Pacific Allies is insanely difficult and you prob will lose 90% of the times unless your an insane god gamer
Normandy is okay and worth it too
its extremely unlikely, they barely announce any news in regards to progression, alot of things and information still lacking
that’s literally what they did during Pacific Campaign they just released it without announcing a release date and it wasn’t even the end of the battle pass.
Unlike in Pacififc, they announced a QnA pre-release.
And its not like they never postponed the new BP session before.
Okay so for anyone like me who barely played as the US, probably this is the minimal viable set before the one nation merge:
- M1 Garand on lvl 7 in Normandy
- Sherman on lvl 15 in Normandy
- Tommy gun on lvl 14 in Tunisia
- Browning M1918 on lvl 7 in Pacific, I guess?
