I am looking at the new Premium Thompson squad and considering whether it will replace some of my soldiers in my Tier 2 setup. Let’s take a look: ^-^
My old squad also has 5 Tommies, but one more assault soldier. Every soldier is important in this game, so…
Which of them should I choose?
What are the pros and cons?
P.S. This is a suggestion. I also want to consider having 6 soldiers in the Premium squad next time, with an engineer and an AT gunner. At least enlisted in no fewer numbers than in the old guard)
That squad with the M2 Hyde’s must be an old one, I don’t have it and don’t remember seeing it for sale in the past. Of course, I did not buy a premium squad till I had played for year and a half, so there are probably a lot of premium squads I haven’t seen.
I have never seen the M2 Hyde in the game, so I wasn’t sure if it were a good gun or not. You have I think three of those squads I don’t have. I have the the Thompson squad under the M2 Hyde squad, the UD M42 squad and the Chinese Thompson squad. If it’s no trouble, could you take a screen shot of the M2 Hyde and it’s stats?
Chinese squad is better
They got total +9 perks point (which can only be seen in high BR squad in old time), also makes you can choose the vitality perk.
7.63 thompson’s firepower is way better than other BR II thompsons.
Way much higher ammo travel speed greatly improved the shooting experience.

Here is my level two Allies squads I play, and I play all of them. My favorite is actually a tech tree squad,. Neither has tech tree weapons, they are all BP, but my favorite uses the Hyde model 35 followed by a tech tree squad which I use BP BSA Model 1929’s. I have two Thompson premium squads I bought, both are ones you have and I like the Chinese one better because the Thompson has less recoil. But I like all my Thompson squads. My other SMG squad you see I switch back and fourth between the M1A1 Grease gun and the Lanchester.
I wish DF would offer the M2 Hyde squad again, or at the very least put the gun in the Battle Pass as I would love to try it out. I would buy the squad and or BP M2 Hyde’s if every offered.
