Which circle is for which gun on multi-turreted tanks?

Here is Grant/Lee:

Which one is which?

PS
I’m partially colorblind so if the circles are differently colored :man_shrugging: this game doesn’t have any colorblind-friendly UI options

In one of the older topics I suggested ways to improve this.

The circle corresponding to the main caliber is darker or may be less transparent. I don’t have such problems, but it only becomes noticeable to me when I start looking closely.

Both have same color only one big large and less thicker is of lighter color. It’s impossible to know where your 75mm is aiming only if you are feeling the tank you have to move it and just guess where it would lob. 75mm will have slower turret traverse than 37mm, so you can guess it that way. But at close range vs enemies swarming you from all sides it’s a mess and result in a quick death.

Some of them have limited arcs, so check against your tank indicator lower left - in this case it’s easy enough since they are main gun and 2 x MG turrets - the M3 Lee/Grant is more confusing, but after a while you get users to he limited arc of the 75 on it and it becomes a bit obvious.

The main improvement it needs (for the M3) is being able to load different ammo in the 2 guns - mainly AP for the 37 and HE for the 75.

One circle is slightly darker than the other, although in the middle of a battle, it definitely isn’t noticeable. The easiest way is just to bring a Crusader (which is what I do). Only one turret and cannon to worry about, has good penetration and damage, and plus, is speedy. Armour can be an issue, but then the Grant can be one shot anyway.

Well yes but it gets boring always running this one tank on BR2 Allies because it’s optimal

I was going to roleplay some Lee/Grant in North African desert but the aiming circles trip me out

You don’t have to just bring the Crusader, the M5 Stuart works as well (62mm front armour is brutal against BR II tanks, but then you may not be able to pen much anyway).

Otherwise, if you want to know which ring belongs to which turret, the best way honestly is just to look through the gunner view of that cannon. It may not offer the best situational awareness, but at least you know which cannon you’re shooting.
