why?, if you compare it with other, the other have more high stats and fast reload then m93, luckly i have 10 of them but i cant upgrade them anymore

M93 has a higher rof than the Kar98k, lower recoil than both Kar98k and Kar98k pre-war, has a bayonet (unlike the M95), and the sights feel great. Also, you have a stockpile of them at all times.

does recoil even matter in BA rifles?

not really meaningful difference, cause you almost never shoot BA rifles at ROF speed (and where you would use it, bayonet is probably better choice)

Yes, if you are doing rapid fire. No kick, no rise.

I do. Spamming LMB and bayonet go well together

What about the Mannlicher M1895? I equipped most of my BR2 German soldiers with it, as it has a high rate of fire.

Didn’t realise the M93 is no longer available… I only have one…

Only for some, many BA have “gun__recoilControlMult”: 0.0, giving them 0 recoil.
Try shooting japanese Type I rifle without controlling recoil, then try Type 38 rifle.
You’ll see how 38 kicks up with each shot, but type I remains on target.

It is one of the few weapons from Stalingrad that removed from the progression. This inclusion soviet Thompson and Breda, German PPSh and M93 as well as the Pz IV G and T-34 E STZ.

There is no particular reason for this weapon to have been removed though, as far as I am aware.

Tbh I didn’t even know it was gonna be removed if I had I would have bought more now idk if I have some gotta check later

the M93 reloads always with a clip, meaning it has a theoretical reload speed advantage over other bolties, while also having a good firerate and good irons. its a solid rifle

  • but the small mannlicher is simply the best bolt action in the game, the rate of fire makes it comparable to early semi autos in pure dps performance.

I don’t like the Mannlicher M93 and pre-war K98K sights so I would say Karabiner 98 Kurz.

Kar98k:

  1. Best sights
  2. Worst fire rate in the selection, but is fast enough. Also you will flick onto targets faster as it has better sights.
  3. Cheap to buy and upgrade (Still the best even if you ignore price)
  4. Can still be bought/upgraded (Unlike Mannlicher M93)
  5. Bayonet
  6. Iconic
  7. Most historically accurate

My ranking:
Kar98k > Mannlicher M93 > Pre-war Kar98k

I haven’t really experienced much difference between the rifles (and the two Karabiners ultimately seem the same to me), I like the Manlicher’s open sights.

Other than that, I find them all quite equal, really.

Funnily enough, they’re still available for purchase (at least they were not too long ago, I purchased 7 of them).
