Which basic infantry rifle is the best in the game? For me, Kar and Geweher because they have round rear sight that makes it easier to aim.
- Kar98K
- Mosin 1907
- Springfield 1903
- Gewehr 33/40

Mosin because nothing stops the russian charge.
Kar-98 is a great rifle, not just as starter rifle. This rifle deals more damage than every other German rifle in Normandy.
M1907 is a disgrace. I suggested devs to replace it with the M1938 as starter gun. This rifle was obsolete in ww2 and it was never used in such huge numbers as in Enlisted.
Springfield 1903 is even more awful. This rifle deals fairly decent damage but sights are extremely bad and unusable at range. Repeating after every shot is fairly slow too
Gewehr 33/40 is like Kar-98 with slightly less damage. This rifle is nice, it’s not as good as the K98 but definitely better than M1907
Mosin M91/30 is one of the best guns in the game but the M1907 is just… awful
Honestly the best rifle is going to be whatever has the best sights in your opinion.
Springfield hands-down. fantastic at range and good sights.
Is this a joke?
I like them, I don’t know why you people are obsessed with adding rings.
NGL the sprinfield is my most hated bolt gun. I replace them with Ross and Enfield as soon as possible.
Not just rings
The sight on the M1903 is very small and hard to aim
Ring helps it “a little bit”
I hate ring sights. Open sights all the way!
the M1891/30 should’ve been the standard rifle for the Red Army just like in reality and the usage of the M1907 is questionable considering it’s not as widespread as the M1891/30 did.
In real life, M91/30 was the standard infantry rifle and M1938 was the standard rifle for engineers and artillerists
All M1907’s and Dragoons were converted to M1938’s and M91/30’s
In Enlisted, M91/30 preforms worse then the dragoon despite being a straight upgrade
Not all, and M1907s were different from the M38 that from my understanding instead of attempting to upgrade them the Russians sorta just warehoused them when they got the M38 ready (though I could be wrong)
The main improvement from ww1 to ww2 was that ww2 mosins had modernised receivers, the ‘‘quadrangular’’ receiver was replaced with a more reliable and accurate ‘‘round’’ receiver which gave the rifle much better accuracy and better handling, that’s why M91/30 was a well known sniper rifle
But I guess devs wanted to make Dragoon stronger as a trade-off for bad sights. Anyhow, I don’t like using the dragoon and I don’t see the reason for this gun to be implemented to enlisted
Just like I said 17 days ago:
I don’t know why did they even add Mosin dragoon to enlisted
I’m pretty sure not all of them were, seeing as there are Dragoons in the USA without Finnish capture markings and there’s way too many of them to have been taken back during the 1919 expedition. However definitely a vast majority of them were converted. What I really want to see is a Remington Mosin in the game as like a skin or maybe an upgraded M91.
On the Mosin topic, there’s no reason to use anything other than the Dragoon as Russia. 1938 is completely pointless with its reduced damage, and I love the needle-thin sight on the Dragoon as well.
Dragoon has the highest damage and higher RoF than the 91/30
It deals the same damage as M91/30
I only use M91/30 over the dragoon because I don’t like dragoon’s sights but imo, dragoon should be unlocked before the M91/30 and should be weaker than the M91/30
Yeah I mean it’s tied for the highest but it’s still the highest.
