I am pretty excited about this one, first because ParaLight WorX let me use their footage (if you do not know them, check them out, especially “Verstaubt sind die Gesichter” and other really good WWII short movies) but also this is the first edit I put more time and effort in, so yeah labor of passion .
Unfortunately this is more of an entertainment video, than having educational value. See I just did a Video with the Bf 110 and it “flopped” big as in no one bothers to watch it, as it is to boring watching an “real aerial fight” in Enlisted.
So for this video I made faster cuts and cut a lot of circeling and shooting away.
The original footage looked something in line like this:
oh alright i see now that you have already spent alot of ammo at the time of the kills.
i personally enjoy more fastpaced edited videos. but i cant speak for everyone so i dont know if that is good advice or not
i also noticed that on 2:05 you only fired the 20mm’s. is that a bug or du you have secondary binds for this?
By reading the youtube analytics I can say, a lot of people like fastpaced edited videos more.
While I do think it is a shame, as in leading to people believing how OP certain things or weapons are in the game, I can understand the entertainment value and am adapting to that
Yeah its the “the 20mm keep firing once 115 rounds are left”-bug.
It had been fixed in the meantime
you are incredibly good for this piece of crap. Although you can see in the video how badly the plane turns and shakes. I’m flying a Bf-109 now. There is clearly something wrong with the fw flight model
how much does dropping the resolution by one level affect frame rate? i rarely use planes cause i cant see anything hardly, but man it looks easier to use them with that resolution you’ve got
It depends on a lot of factors.
I started playing the game on 1080p cause I was sure that my rig (4th gen i5, 1060 GTX 6GB and 8GB RAM) could not handle 1440p. Well it did (with around 60ish fps). on 4k it would go down to 20ish-30ish fps, while setting everything else to low.
So just try for yourself.
It sure helps!
See I really struggled, I do not play planes, EVER and I game since 1987.
I never played any plane sims, and when ever you could optionally use planes, I didn’t, like in War Thunder. Or I was in a clan in my WoT time and they had a WoP event I participated, cause of the clan and once it was over I uninstalled it
And around 2001 I was playing WWIIonline, there was a really nice and helpful community and some ingame friends wanted to teach me fly. I died before even taking off, because I accidently dropped bombs while still being in the hangar ^^.
So I am no flyer at all. But yeah I started late into the open Beta Test (OBT) so I had to fight Jumbo’s and it was either rage quitting or learning to fly and to bomb. I chose the later and really put a lot of time into it! I mean at times I would solely play planes in matches (rotating between three aircraft) only with constant practice you become good.
Everyone was laughing on the comms
I think at most an hour later they gave up on me and so I became a dedicated machine gunner on an He-111 and also responsible for aiming the bombs, than we did fly from france to great britain to bomb some industry complex and I was absolutely clueless about how bombing worked, I mean we had to fly for at least 15-20 minutes or something like that and I was like “please don’t let me fuck up”.
That game was really amazing now that I think back … .
