Where is henderson field in guadalcanal?

I am not sure where it is; can someone help me find it?

It’s not there as far as I remember, just Gavutu Airfield.

I just checked It is not there, but there are unused parts of the map that may be used in the future for new game modes.

But why it and the first contact at night at the sandbar was arguably one of the most important parts of the battle?

But where were these small little villages at Tenaru and Alligator Creek that I see in Enlisted? Didn’t the Japs clear it all out?

Even if the Japs didn’t clear them out, the USMC certainly did and covered it with fortifications, barbed wire, and foxholes.

I couldn’t tell ya, but I agree, it’s quite strange. If I recall correctly the whole point of the battle was to capture what would be Henderson field

Even Edison’s hill, which was the nail in the coffin, is not on the map. It just makes my head hurt and disorients me when I’m playing.

For some reason the devs pick and choose which maps they want to be historical ie Stalingrad and Berlin.

They are reworking old ones which is a start but if they want this game to pick up any traction with the WW2 crowd they have got to stop making “best guess” maps when it comes to historic battle locations.

Dont get me going on a rant but that is what will drive this game’s longevity, not wunderweapons and “endgame” BS. All the evidence is in Forgotten Hope 2, and if you aren’t familiar with that game then you should check it out. This game’s devs should have a class taught on that game/mod.

You can get the full version for free, you dont even need a copy of Battlefield 2 anymore to play it. The amount of passion from that team is evident in every pixel.
