When in doubt get something interesting for your collection.
Volksturm gameplay is one of the most things you can do! The game has ton of bolties for axis allowing me to use all sorts of mismatched rifles:
It is really epic being the last squadmate alive after shooting your final bullet from an old ww1 rifle and being forced to defend the point with a knife and grenade

well ugh…
i completed yesterday all of my historical accurate loadouts.
ranging from
UK with both North afrika / Italy & Normandy 1944 loadouts
Us with Tunisia / italy, Mechanized group, 82nd/101st/505 paratrooper line up, Pacific 1944, Iconic line ups ( 29th, 82nd, 501st, 28th, 1st, etc )
and few full vehicle or infantry line ups.
for the axis,
full volkssturm line up, a dedicated presets for moscow, stalingrad, rzhev, battle of the bulge, normandy plus a full mechanized line up.
and the soviets i have full nkvd, full red army guards, full stalingrad, full moscow and few others.
japan is the only one that i dont have many loadouts beside one for high br, one for low, and another for HA.
gold order weapons don’t really match in any of the HA outside the bren 100 ( which i have few ), the kp already in the ostruppen as the iconic, and… that’s kinda about it.
EDIT: actually one of my vs has one fn model 30 too.
G43k is really good choice. Even after the nerf it still packs a punch
I only got one since i had so many other guns i wanted.

The gold order pistols are always nice. Artillery luger and yazikov fit in every loadout

Its the 550 rpm which for some reason I cant explain feels so much better to shoot than 500 rpm - its magic dont know why.
Its borderline at the limit of dps to be great while on return reloading fast, being accurate and having extra damage at range.
G43k is especially good vs Soviets because FG42 needs the same hits to down.

It is also more visually pleasing compared to FG. I just hate how Fg 42 looks like
Well my personal favourites are Mondragon, Knorr Bremse and G43k, so if you don’t have those three and you like playing all kinds of BRs, I recommend them.
Man I love Mondragons - enough damage to one hit down vs Soviet armor, a 30 round mag and great accuracy pretty much make them my favourite gun in the game, well okay it kicks like a mule, but recoil can be compensated, dispersion on the other hand can ruin a otherwise good gun.
Heresy - if FG42 was a man, I’d be gay.
To be fair, FG42 would look much better if its bipod wasn’t folded down by default.
idk tbh i dont want any boring jap GO gun like hei, type 1 and other mp looking smg.
I guess i will go with bren 100 round or something idk i havent check

i… just come back from the game and i think i didint get any GO cuz i havent completed the BP…
but i bougth 4x RMN 50 when the removing of GO was announced

I didnt get it yet. But when its there then id decide between the yazikov smg and RMN-50 grenade launcher.
I own both already, but i cant decide of which id want a second one.
The yazikov smg is a perfect smg sidearm for pilots, as they cant carry that much ammo.
The RMN-50 is very fun to use and unique as well. As i would have 2 of them, i could equip 2 soldiers of a mortar squad to both use it as a secondary.
What should i get???

RMN-50 is fun and somewhat historical.
I find GO secondaries waste of GOs or gold, especially for vehicle crew members since they have a lower chance to even use it.

I would get second rmn 50. Yazikov is cool gun but due to being an sidearm it rarely gets used. Rmn 50 on the other hand is one of the most unique gold order guns imo
