Just noticed channel @Titah1939 was removed from YT.
The channel had 32.000+ subs.
Why would it just disappear?
For who ever cares:
Info from discord channel:
He uploaded 1 (one) short video which had some german war song as audio and apparently that was enough to instantly remove the enire channel.
Wow, I used to watch some of their videos from time to time. But YouTube is kinda crazy sometimes with censorshipâŚ
RIP.
Things like this will only get worse.
Censorship, shadowbans, shadow hiding of comments, hidden thumbsdown.
YT is really overly sensitive with Nazi German stuff, say Hitler, show the Kreuz, use some march as background, and you get nuked. Crazy stuff. Stupid too. Legit history channels had to walk around the topic to not trip the bot.
Yet they allow all sorts of weird shit in the ads.
Idk. I find the AI chat ads funnier and more entertaining than the YT trends.
The difference is that ads pay to YT, while YT pays to creators, an obligation they really donât want to fulfil, so they find any reason to strike the channel. Besides, all this Hitler stuff is not âadvertiser and kid friendlyâ, even though ads are massive gooner bait 75% of the time and the âkid friendlyâ content is some kind of fever dream.
One context is important like if it played at a Hitler rally so what song was In the background
And that song literally a remix version of it, not a propaganda one. Many other videos TITAH shown as an example have the original version included in the content yet it has been there for years.
Yes, my channel was removed. Unfortunately, I donât have any more specific information about why it was taken down apart from the vague label of âHate Speech.â YouTube did not explain the exact reason for the channelâs removal (such as specific words, a song, symbols, etc.) or indicate which video violated their policy.
As for the German song, specifically âErikaâ (this is my assumption since YouTube never gave a clear explanation), YouTube issued the first-ever strike on my channel for it. This happened on January 18, 2025. After January 18, I didnât upload a single video, yet on January 23, YouTube deleted my channel.
At the moment, I am fighting to restore my channel, but itâs incredibly difficult to do when I donât even know the exact reason for its removal. My goal right now is to first find out why the channel was taken down, and only then proceed with submitting an appeal.
