Question, when I was playing enlisted I wondered something from a old video I watched, it shows a torso with armor on it (I saw the video off of YouTube shorts) and it looked cool and I wonder if I can even find it?

“Battle of Berlin” customization tab of any Soviet soldier.
(Might even be available for Moscow and Stalingrad/Rzhev now).
Thanks
It is available for all maps now
Very sad
Perhaps you are confused by the “amoeba”. It is only in Berlin for now. (With the exception of some event squads) Or is it because EVERY ONE soviet is equipped with a chestplate?
Maybe the game already does this, however just like they slow soldiers down carrying heavy MG’s, soldiers wearing body armor should do the same since body armor of that time was very heavy.
And the bonuses it gives are ridiculous for such debuffs. If you slow down soldiers, you need to give them the opportunity to survive a couple of extra hits from SMGs, but not overdo it, so that the soldier cannot survive more than two hits from FG. (Although, ideally, they should not have protection from anything except shrapnel and SMGs)
Personally, I don’t think they should have body armor in the game as I doubt it was used much, and like I had said, if it was used it was heavy and would have slowed the soldier down and lowered his endurance. But I also think DF should increase the hitting power of smg’s as I think they are to low.
Soviets get body armour like candy, while it was mostly used in 1942-43 and gradually abandoned.
We don’t have evidence of body armour being used in Berlin at all
As far as I know, they were widely used during the siege of Königsberg.
Either bring the damage of the SMG to the damage of the AR, or reduce the damage of the AR to the level of the SMG with a subsequent reduction in the damage of all automatic and semi-automatic weapons, descending from bolt-actions rifles to the SMG. I like the first option better.
Any hard evidence is welcome, if you have some.
It’s not very convenient for me to look for it now. Maybe tomorrow, if I don’t forget.
