Where are the bayonets for all the other weapons?

Recently I found this video from a Hungarian channel called Polgár Haditechnikai Gyűjtemény. Where he field strips the Kiraly 39M, shows everything relevant about the gun as well as it shows the bayonet it and its successor came with and how it is attached. The channel also has a video about the Mannlicher 1895M in the same vane.

In game there’s several weapons which clearly have a bayonet lug and did have pictures of them with bayonet attached, or literally have a bayonet attached on a hinge, but either lack it or cannot use it. This shouldn’t be the case, especially since most just use the standard bayonets of their respective nations so how come these guns still lack their bayonets after a whole update just dedicated to their mass inclusion?

It’s most likely a balancing issue, as the bonuses offered with melee, the newer ability to charge, and the hidden recoil reduction modifier is not insignificant.

Not sure. Some of it could be for balance reasons. The Kiraly for example is one of the a best Axis SMGs and a personal favorite. Adding a bayonet to it would make it even more powerful.

I always thought it was due to balance reason.

And I still think that’s the case.

However it could be about the 3D models as well.

Since they’re for the most part is done by third party is not that simple to just add a bayonet to a weapon.

Maybe they’ll add them via weapon upgrade thingy that’s still locked behind “available in future”.

I doubt it 'cause things like the AVS 36, AVT 40, M2 carbine, SIG 1920 and Type 96 all have their bayonets. Say whatever you will about Japanese weapons, but even the SIG 1920 is quite good from what I can tell and the Type 96 is quite usable. Even if you go far back there was that PPD with bayonet for Berlin which was removed with all the older premiums.
All I’m really asking is for all weapons to have all their relevant features.

Because those weapons are supposed to be good.

Those are supposed to be middling. Maybe after the merge it would make more sense for them to all get their bayonets, but right now there is a clear pattern of very low tier weapons/bolt action rifles getting bayonets, then mid-range weapons which could use bayonets not getting them, and then end-game weapons which could use bayonets getting them. The only outliers I can think of being for the FG-42, but that had an integral spike bayonet, at least on the early pattern, which could be why.
