When will they again allow to choose maps?

I’m more deserting than playing the game unfortunately. Since I always liked to play the Tunis-Campaign, since the last update I have to desert 20 games to get one Tunis-Map. For the record: I have squads with BR II and I am constantly getting Berlin, Normandy or Stalingrad maps. When the update came, they said, that Berlin and Normandy will only be played with BR 4 or 5 and Moscow and Tunis only with BR 1 or 2. Obviously this was a bad joke, since they seemed to have changed it. WTF am I supposed to do, to play Tunis?

Bring back the old mode with choosing maps and different squads tied to different campaigns! It is a joke when you want me to play Berlin with my BR II squad against BR V enemies. Also only recently I have played Moscow with a Fw 190 - which is obviously total nonsense!

Are you sure you have full BR2 squad not one squad having BR 3 or 4 gun/vehicle

We don’t even have map veto, and that would only allow to ban few maps anyway.

Try customs, but they are mostly dead.

No hope for You im afraid, just desert like madman untill you get tunisia, not like there is any real punishment for it.

No, since make enlisted a better place #55 update, Normandy and Ardennes maps were added to low BRs queues.

So yeah, you basically have no way how to influence map pool while playing Americans. The only exception is pacific not being available on BR5.

Its theme selection and not map because we could never individually cross out maps. Otherwise we would never have to play Train Mode again.

Funnily enough, they forget to mention it here on forum post related to that update. That’s why lot of people completely missed it.
But it is mentioned here under “other changes”.

But they are not being completely honest. They must have changed the percentage of campaigns, that you get. One Tunisia-campaign per 20 desertions is completely off the rails. The game is less and less fun…

I takes a lot of time though and every time I get a Normandy of Berlin map (which should not be playable on BR II) I get more frustrated. Not that it is one Tunis Campaign in every four desertions, it is more like 1 in 20 - not kidding! I get the suspicion, that they don’t want you to play Tunis anymore!

That’s very much possible, since Normandy was always extremely popular campaign in comparison to any other.

Tunisia on other hand, was never a really popular campaign.

I had five matches yesterday and I think 2/3 were Tunisia with US BR3. Pacific is rare and if you get them, you get Ta-Ses as cannon fodder which feels not right with a 75mm Sherman.
Constantly facing BRV with BRII feels orf beyond bugs because that would mean bug happens about all the time which is close to impossible or playing on times where there are like 10 people in queues.

I too have to reset for an hour straight to play a damn game in Tunisia it pisses me off in a sensational way it always makes me do that damn Stalingrad and Normandy game I want Tunisia and Moscow in BR 2 because they always have to ruin everything I really don’t like the other maps they were already present in br 3 4/5 it makes no sense to go and get involved in br 1/2 where those two only maps were often playable now especially Tunisia it’s almost impossible to find, fix it please

It is indeed tougher to prepare for a map now, but if you want to run 4 mortar squads that’s easier now.
