When we get a 5 star soldier please let us pick one perk

Doing all the work (fun work though) to get a soldier to 5 star but still playing a huge RNG lottery is a kick in the teeth. after all that effort a cash grab to re roll perks etc seems a bit cheap. How about a bit of a reward please. one perk is all I ask.

You can reroll a perk for free when the soldier levels up after having unlocked all perk slots

When I attempt to do that for one of my guys (Pilot II, 3 Star for example ) the game gives me a message that he does not have enough experience to level up and need to pay 4 gold to buy a new soldier. I assume ill see the same message with 5 star?

actually, it shows the same message on a maxed out level 5 star tanker II also

You need to level up again before you get a point. You keep leveling up after reaching max level, but get reroll points instead of unlocking more slots

I must be missing something, my pilot has 100 retraining points and i still cant use retraining points to change the perks. Same as my tanker, it just tells me i need to level up the soldier

I seriously doubt you have 100 retraining points. Are you sure you are looking at the correct stat? If you are, then the soldier is probably bugged and you should submit a bug report.

actually, 101 points now. Attacker II, 3 star. 3.2k Xp to level.

Well I would submit a bug report then. I just tested it and retraining points work just fine for me.

Don’t click on the “use retraining points change the perks” button click on the actual perk you want to get rid of.

Sorry if I didn’t catch it before, but I can NOT level up my pilot (or driver or anything) to level 5?
Every time I get to 3.2 K I get only retraining point?

You start getting retraining points once a soldier is at his maximum level. The max level is determined by the number of stars. To get a higher max level you have to send soldiers of the same level to the academy in groups of 3 .

I’m somewhat puzzled cause if I go threw all of upgrades, and among Personnel upgrades (those red ones in he middle) I get fighter pilot rank 5.
So even if I get that upgrade for a pilot rank 5, my pilot still can’t get rank 5?
After that upgrade there are only 25 plus experience for a pilot and that yellowed image of “soldier class veteran”, that still isn’t in the game.
