When resuppling ammo

When I resupply ammo at an ammo box, please let the game check for “max amount of bullets” and give me that amount of bullets.
instead…
as we have it now, “ignore the amount of bullets in gun, and only refill the other ammo”

If Im only allowed to own 2 “Mags”.
Lets take an AVS as an example.
I have an AVS with 3 bullets in gun, so I go to the ammo box, and I only get +15 bullets for my 2nd mag.
Bad design…

  • Change to, “If Im allowed to only own 30 ammo with an AVS” and I have 3 bullets in gun, then give me the missing amount from my "max bullets ", in this case, 27 new bullets.
Would this mean I would have “Mag 1 - 3 bullets” + “Mag 2 - 15 bullets” + “12 bullets in pocket” … yes it would. Noone would care, but it would make the game a better game.

  • Or, when u get ammo at an ammo box, remove the ammo u have in gun, and replace that with a full clip, + get max ammo

  • Also… When I refill at an ammo box… Do not give me the message “You have Max ammo” or whatever it saz. It’s an unnecessary message, only show the message if you already have full ammo, and try and get mor ammo.

Well, it is indeed mildly annoying to pick up ammo, reload gun, and then pick up more ammo, but on the other hand it makes sense.

No, this would be abused to instantly reload MGs and other slow-reloading weapons by camping next to an ammo box.

What ?.. who said it would be instant reload ?

LEt me refrais it since u seemed to missunderstand.

“When you pick upp ammo, you automaticly starts reloading your gun and get max ammo”

And why is this an issue, just pick up ammo again after reloading

Why it is an issue?, Because its terrible game design.

LEt me country ask then. “Why dont you want to improve the game?”

It isn’t “terrible”, it is a choice. If you were to pick up ammo while your current magazine is almost full, you may not want to be forced to reload right there. In the end, it’s about pressing literally one key.

I guess that the issue is with the game taking into account half-spent mags, and possibly either exceeding max ammo or leaving you with two half-full mags instead of a full one if replenishing ammo straight away without the reloading step.

A “choice” can be a “Terrible choice” … It still is a bad design.

"You do not want to go to ammo crate, grab ammo, force to reload, and then forced to grab ammo again. "

THAT is BAD DESIGN… No other words then… BAD DESIGN.
IF the company made a choice to be badly design… its still TERRIBLE BAD GAME DESIGN.

And also in my original post I made a suggestion how you can keep the current system and not be forced to grab ammo twice.

Let me quote myself
" * Change to, “If Im allowed to only own 30 ammo with an AVS” and I have 3 bullets in gun, then give me the missing amount from my "max bullets ", in this case, 27 new bullets.
