I don’t pay attention to a lot of the bulletins that DF puts out, but I’ve noticed a couple games ending with still having a couple hundred troops left, and today, it just ended when we had exactly 501 dudes left. Now, is it because we were getting our asses kicked, because one side or the other gets this the majority of games, or because we hadn’t sniffed the first cap point, or to many people deserted? This is also the game mode I hate the most because the defenders seem to win the vast majority of the matches.
To be honest, I was on the side being seal clubbed and it was quite obvious we weren’t mounting an opposition so I am not complaining, but when was this implemented? I had already checked out on the game and was just going to ride it out in my plane just to meet a daily goal, otherwise I would have strongly considered deserting. Four people had deserted, and this photo I took when I first noticed the countdown.
