I’ve long avoided leveling up Tunisia. From the release I wasn’t impressed with campaign. I’ve finally decided to get the grind going but ive still got some grievances.
1 of the complaints I’ve always had is the uniforms like high level German units wearing camouflage smocks.
To all my knowledge these were never seen in North Africa, if you have found any evidence of them being used please send it my way.
Also the Italian armored uniforms, wtf is going on with those? They’ve changed 3 times now and that’s only what I know of. They were actually corrected at 1 point and looked historically accurate but now the Italian armored Divisions are using out of place German uniforms how the hell did that happen? “We need to being going up not down” (If you know you know)
I really wish it wasn’t, the North Africa campaign is what got me really into WW2 history when I was younger so it really sucks that it’s not at the point I think it could be
Well, we know they will eventually get cosmetics, you can hope it gets addressed then, I suppose. For now, just enjoy the Italian safari uniforms with gasmasks.
See that’s the part that baffles me, they fixed the Italian armored uniforms and then screwed them up again! The other stuff I mentioned like the camo smocks I know can be dealt with later when customization eventually arrives
They did have that in the game before. Originally when the campaign dropped the Italian armor crews were wearing Infantry uniforms but I can’t remember which update it was they got changed to a accurate uniform, and now it’s changed again to the German Grey uniforms.
For what it’s worth, I was distinctly aware of my soldiers changing uniforms when I swapped them from Italian Tanker 1s to German Tanker 3s. I remember seeing the change and thinking it must have been a purposeful decision, for the German tankers to have German uniforms and Italian uniforms for the others.
Additionally, my 15th Armoured Battalion (The Tanker 2 squad) still has their Italian uniforms despite all being Tanker 3s.
