I’ve had the same situation but with FG-42 on D-Day invasion, killed last crewman that happened to switch on M2 browning in his M8 Scott, so he was exposed to rifle fire. When I’ve hit him (tanker) the tank exploded and killfeed showed I have killed M8 Scott with FG-42.

Sometimes when you kill the last crew member of a vehicle the vehicle will just blow up randomly, i think it happens right as they jump out and the game hasnt realized they arent in the vehicle anymore, and thus thinks “oh all crew are dead, that means tank goes boom”
