What we can learn from the 10-year-old game Rising Storm

The 10 year old game Rising Storm has many advantages over Enlisted, such as character and bipod animation, character military uniforms, realistic gun damage and blood loss, and so on.

Those are not advantage but different game design.
Enlisted is not that hardcore.

Red ochestra 2 HoS, peak. Or also BFV, to be able to crough behind cover with bipod guns, while reloading and stuff. While in enlisted you pretty much cant and are still in the open while reloading.

yes we must imitate games that started with tiny player basses and shrank to nothing in a few years, that will save enlisted

What enlisted can learn?

Simple:

How

To

Make

I do agree with proper bipod animation and proper uniforms.

Its so annoying when your gun wont mount, especially on a windowsill of all things which is something often used in real life to mount a machine gun or rest a rifle.

There’s also other things around the maps where it should be easier to mount weapons, such as the bonnet of a vehicle.

Furthermore I have commented previously how Roblox D Day (yes, Roblox) used to have reasonably accurate uniforms (all things considered) for:
USA, UK, Canada, Free French, Free Polish, Free Czech, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand.
They also had the Berthier rifle.

Now if friggin Roblox can add all those uniforms, why the hell cant this supposedly ‘accurate’ and ‘professional’ game??

How many uniforms did each country have hmmm, 25 too many 10, still to many 5 no three

?? What are you saying??

In Roblox D Day they had one uniform because… the games called D Day LOL it was only D Day.

You complain, but all each country really needs is:
Standard uniform
Desert Uniform
Winter Uniform

The standard uniform would most likely be their regular European uniform, Australians and New Zealanders for instance would use their Pacific uniform which is doubled up.

Also you whinge about all this work but the devs waste all this time on modern warfare events (with new uniforms, guns, tanks and planes), zombies and aliens (new appearances, enemy creatures and so forth).

As Ive also commented previously, the great thing about the Commonwealth is our uniforms are either pretty much the same or very similar. For Canada, Free Polish and Free Czech, they used regular British style uniforms just with different insignia on the shoulder.

It is literally not that hard.

3 hats 3 pants 3 shirts is all Canada ever gets, :+1: Good deal

I wouldn’t call a game like BF5 a game with a tiny player base that shrank to nothing in a few years. Did it shrink from its original size at launch, yes. Every game does this as the time goes on because people move on to other games or in the case of BF5 the developer moved on to support a newer title with content, however this community is still going strong, and each steam sale has returning players as well as an uptick in new players. In fact, they are still boasting numbers well over the microscopic numbers that Enlisted struggles to keep week to week. So, do they need to learn something from a game like this? Yes, yes, they do. DICE is pretty much a king when it comes to Combine Arms War games. Which is something that DF is struggling to replicate with Enlisted.

Not sure if youre being sarcastic or actually agreeing with me. But yeah thats all they really need. To my knowledge Canada just had either berets or Brodie helmets (Both already in game). And they could use existing British uniforms just with CANADA patches on the side.

funny how you only mention BF5 out of those you listed earlier i missed it like you missed Red ochestra 2 HoS, Rising Storm remind us again of their heights.
second BF5 second worst BF only after BF dumpster fire DF

Im not saying BFV is good, but iirc, you can hide behind cover in it, while reloading.

to be able to crough behind cover with bipod guns, while reloading and stuff., which in B5 is not that strong in enlisted it would be a superpower, you already have a super lean no crouch for you

Blind shooting would also be nice, which iirc was a thing in RO2 HoS.

True BF5 is not a great game, but it’s funny that the “Second worse BF” according to you is still out preforming Enlisted in terms of commercial success, concurrent player counts and active players. And at most you can purchase this game for $6 USD when it’s not on super steam sale that makes it cheaper than that. Also, with this purchase you get all the content of the multiplayer game as well as a pretty solid single player game. So please tell me again how a $6 USD game is worse than a free to play game that hamstrings the player at the start if they don’t want to spend on a battle pass and a bunch of squads?

Yes enlisted should outsell a aaa hundred’s millions dollar game, again i missed three letters, you tell me of the massive hits of Red ochestra 2 HoS, Rising Storm, or how every race gender should be in the ss Battlefield V" - Axis Medic, MP Soldier - Concept Art, Per Haagensen Battlefield 5 outfits | battlefield 5, battlefield, dieselpunk Oh No, There Are Women In Battlefield V Misaki Yamashiro – Battlefield™ V Elites – EA Official Site
