What the Japanese military lacks

This topic has probably been debated many times. For now, I’d like to summarize my thoughts.

  • Chi-To at BR3 or Chi-Nu 2 at BR3
  • 90mm type 4 rocket launcher at BR3
  • Ki-43 1(equipped 2 50kg bomb) at BR1 and Ki-43 2(equipped 2 100kg bomb) at BR2
  • Ki-49 2b(equipped 10 100kg bomb) at BR5
  • P1Y1(equipped 2 500kg bomb) at BR4
  • Ki-45 Hei(equipped 2 250kg bomb) at BR3
  • Ki-48(equipped 4 100kg bomb) at BR2
  • Type 92 machine gun(aviation machine gun) at BR5
  • Chi-Ri 2 at BR4

A balanced BR I

As you point out, the Type100 SMG(early) is OP.
It is necessary to increase the BR or return it to its pre-enhancement state.

I’m quite happy with it being buffed to historical stats. I believe all other weapons should get the same treatment.

However, they realistically should’ve uptiered the gun to BR II or III at the same time.

I am starting to suspect that the devs are not allowed to touch BR outside of the major updates anymore given how well recieved those were as part of the “jet power” update according to the CM post.
So maybe the higher ups are banking on so long overdue BR changes to save an otherewise failing update nobody would care about otherwise.
But that might be a bit much tin foil territory.

I’m starting to suspect that the people making decisions for Enlisted are not the sharpest knives in the cabinet. :joy:

Sorry for offtopic but if you know Japanese, can you pleas ehelp translate this?

Hmm.
Inside the square frame it says, “第四十五、彈倉内ノ五發ノ實包ヲ射?(undecipherable
)シタルトキハ遊底ハ彈倉ノ彈受ニ止メラレテ停止スルヲ以テ全彈射終リヲ知ルコトヲ得.”
I tried translating it, but it seems to be “On the 45th shot, when the five rounds in the magazine are fired, the bolt is stopped by the magazine’s bullet catcher, indicating that the gun is out of ammo.” It may be a bit strange because it’s a double translation.

True, it is definitely not BR1 anymoe as it’s more in line with the PPS43 at BR2. I know some will say it still needs to go higher but I can still beat BR3 Japanese and Soviets with BR2 Allies and Axis…but new BR1 players don’t stand a chance.
