What the hell is with the Allies and their ultra close to the cap rallies?

its fucking stupid seeing how there’s enemy rally within 30 meters of the cap

I guess its not allied exclusive, maybe depends of maps ( i can remember some maps on i can build a rally point on 40m)

It’s map dependent, so unless you tell what map and what obj you are on, there’s no solid answers here

You can build very close rallies as Axis as well. One of the Tunisia Destruction Mode maps is like this, can’t remember the map name, but its the one where you have to defend two objectives at the start, a multi-story house on the left and a big fort-like structure on the right (From the defenders perspective).

You can build a rally point inside one of the small houses on the left, very close to left objective. Or you can build a rally point basically inside the fort on the right, near one of the rear sets of winding stairs.

Edit : Its Al Har Map

Green dots are a few places you can build very close rally points for the first two objectives.

It’s the same for the Soviets too on some maps. In other maps, the rally point distance is further than 50m.

As suggested already, it’s all dependent on the map and battle-type.

Almost every map has some unhinged rally point locations at least for one objective on one configuration and it’s really not that great :frowning:

Thank you thread for clarifying! I was genuinely confused and thought rallies could be closer as defenders lost more objectives in invasion and for the rest I thought it was always capped at 80 meters but now this makes more sense.

Some maps feel like enemies are really crapping out of nowhere a bit closer than the “usual”.

Does this same logic apply to mobile rally points like APCs or do they have their own fixed distances? Cheers in advance!

As far as I know, the same rules apply.

Closing thread as answered and because it’s necro.
