What’s with the Incorrect German Collar Insignia?

It looks like Heer soldiers have SS insignia on their collars in the Stalingrad campaign.

This is incorrect. They should have Heer Litzen instead.

Also, the Litzen that are currently in the game are way too small!

Finally, the Reichsadler should be added to the right side of the standard German uniforms (above the pocket). You can censor the Swastika if needed, but at least add the eagle holding an empty circle.

If you don’t make these changes, you can’t call yourself a “historically accurate game”.

To be fair, as soon as they censored everything relating to nazi axis to satisfy snowflake laws of some countries, they lost that right 🤷

So why having SS insignia then? This is definitely a mistake.

… I really don’t see the ss insignia in the picture thought…

If its the “metal diamond”, it’s not representing enough to censor. It’s too common a shape for that.

The point I am trying to make is that the metal diamonds shouldn’t be there, as those are Heer Wehrmacht soldiers, not Waffen SS soldiers.

Ah, I understand what you mean now, sorry I misunderstood.

No problem at all! Hope Gaijin fix this.

If it was historically accurate, you would not be able to respawn.

Thx for your retarded comment.

In Fack those are Volkssturm uniforms, not SS ones. And yes, they should change them.

The 2 diamonds can be found on Volkssturm, SA, and SS uniforms (not the regular Army). They correspond to the rank of Truppführer.

I talk about Ingame, they use Volkssturm uniform model, its not SS uniform.

You are probably right, but it needs changing. And it’s a very small change to make.

I’d say with all the ahistorical garbage in this game, this is one of the smallest historical issues rn.

I love those fantasy troopers. To this day, I dont get it how devs could screw up the uniforms so much. It isnt that hard to look up some correct uniforms and model them accordingly instead of this BS.
Same goes to the Erbsentarnmuster helmet in stalingrad altough it was released in 1944. Got to love the ignorance of the devs sometimes, lmao.

It really is sad. It doesn’t take a lot to get this stuff right. It’s a shame.

I was more so going for the Fedorov/AVT in Berlin or Mkb/T50 in Msocow,or ZH/Johnson in Tunisia and so on, but I guess that’s another one.
But, remember when the axis in Tunisia had 1944 SS uniforms?

Rather than Uniforms, I really get the same feeling with equipment.
90% of all that gets added is just copy paste either from different campaigns or warthunder. Even if there’s more unique and overall better options availible.
It’s really sad.

Literally unplayable

And that’s one reason I won’t spend any penny for that grotesque overpriced customization feature. If they try to pull off that kind of monetization they gotta do it with more love to correct uniforms.
