Personally I think they are ok but I’d like to give orders to my crew. Like move here, engage etc.
I’m fine with the tank controls.
i would like for option to stop manning some position (commander on m8… just dies there till there is crew).
also option to lock the tank.
remove that stupid autoaim that will lock onto tree when you are aiming for target behind the tree and you have clear sight to it.
also to improve marking of tanks when you are in gunner position.

This is not auto aim. This is caused by barrel being next to sights.
I’d like for the AI to operate the weapons off the tank while we are outside the tank, I’d be cool and broken as hell
Standard keyboard settings shouldnt put heal and leave tank solo on the same key.
Oh and in general let us extinguish fire (both human and engine) inside the tank.
As a tank player, I would suggest designating an auto change seat position. Lol not sure if it already exists.
Meaning you should be able to designate what position should be occupied automatically once a crew member dies - a priority arrangement. For example, for me it’s a gunner. If he dies due to a hit, he should be replaced automatically if there is an option to designate such an order.
I’d like a function to "lock"the turret or TD canon while the commander looks around. If I want to quickly look at my surroundings to know if enemy infantry is nearby, I don’t necessarily want my canon to stop pointing in the direction I believe an enemy tank might come.

I would like to see more “squad” autonomy for tank crews, such as the following:
Crew perks modelled closer to WT crew perks.
When in commanders seat all you should be able to do is designate targets or pick spots on the ground where you want the driver to go. When the active player is in the commanders seat all crew tasks are 10% more effective/efficient. The other crew would perform certain tasks to the best of their AI ability.
We already have the seat changing perk/gimmick which allows a player to move between positions but not too quickly to balance out the tanks combat abilities - I’m fine with this abstraction.
The radio operator/assistant driver should should be able to operate the bow MG autonomously - ie engage all enemies in arc/range. The radio operator will make the mini map available for the tank. If you lose your RO, then you tank loses the mini map - you’re situationally blind and can only rely on your mk1 eyeball…
The gunner will take the shot once they load the right round, the tank cannon remains empty until you designate a target. That’s how it worked IRL, and so the reload is based on the target you are engaging.
The gunner will fire / reload with the accuracy / speed based off their rank (rank bonuses) and perks. The active player can jump into the gunner and take over if they’re not happy with the AI shooting at the center of the seen mass, and want to aim at a weak point.
The driver AI will take the tank to your selected spot by the most efficient route, again the speed of the tank and the gear changes on elevations will be determined by the skill of the driver. The active player can ofcourse jump in at any point to take control of the tank from the drivers position, adjust to their liking and reset the nav point for the AI again.
The loader should have perks that reflect the trained level of reload, any other crew member that replaces them should reload the tank slower. For those tanks with rear facing MGs the loader should be able to autonomously protect the tank’s rear in the same vein as the RO/Driver Assist protects the tank’s front with the bow MG.
