At first I thought it’s a pointless feature but after a few matches with it, I feel an overall increase in teamplay. Of course experience varies but generally it seems ppl were more willing to do things together.
My guess it’s partially because now it’s much easier to tell a friendly player from a friendly bot. Previously I just saw a blob of friendly units with player somewhere inside it. I wonder if making all friendly players easier to distinguish from their bots would also improve teamplay?
Anyway, what are your experiences?

Don’t use it as it’s just devs excuse to not implement solo que into the game. Current MM is just nasty it’s stomp or get stomped (by a clan stacks).

Placebo to excuse deserter penalty.

Played one match with it on, which I didn’t know was added and on at the time. After the game ended I turned it off.

I have nothing but good results. I feel the intel of seeing other guys “in my squad” and them also seeing how I play has been a significant improvement to quality of my play. This does not mean everyone is great but I feel the guys I see numbers for are better and so am I

Played a match with it on when it was first added because I forgot to turn the feature off, everyone played basically the same, I didn’t notice any increase in teamwork.
Played 2 more matches with it on because I swear it turns itself on sometimes despite me keeping it deactivated and again I didn’t notice any change in teamwork.

Honestly nothing, I turned it off the second I saw it, being grouped with a random doesnt make it any less shit, if there was some sort of squad voice chat, yeah maybe. Saying that, I feel lately I have seen a little more teamplay so perhaps your theory holds weight to it. More and more games recently Ive seen people build rallies and etc even without an event task for it.
Saying that, I still get a lot of god awful teams, honestly Jap BR2/BR3 teams recently have been dogshit, and I dont know why, its not that most are bots, because at least those guys would push the point, nor have I seen too many people abusing the blatantly OP M1A1 at BR2, so who knows.
Not sure how this feature is supposed to do something. The players would be in your team regardless recruting or not and the only thing it does is display their name.
Given how there are little features to capitalise on beeing in a group ingame and no option to stay in such a group it litterly is worthless.
The big benefit of beeing in a group is your way to manipulate the MM to ensure a better player is on your team.
I think there is one. On the F2 button on PC?
I have had many requests to play in groups, but never take it simply because I don’t have a headset anymore, not going to buy one just to play one game and I don’t like typing in chats while playing, so, solo for me.
The best option is just to give the players “THE CHOICE” of playing Enlisted as normal, or giving us a “SOLO PLAYER” only box to check before the match. I don’t speak for everyone, but I think a large majority of players who play solo only would choose to only play other solo players. This would significantly cut down on seal clubbings IMOP as you would not be pitting unorganized solo players against organized groups. And since it would be an “OPTION”, then those solo players who don’t care can just ignore the solo only option and play as usual.
If people want a solo only option, they need to get behind it and push it relentlessly, otherwise the Dev’s won’t give it the time of day. Look how long people bitched about the soft rule before the Dev’s finally removed it.
My matches have actually gotten better with the group thing being on. Something with the names being displayed and marks having numbers make them actually see my pings lol.
And it makes me feel a bit better knowing that i atleast have 4 real players with me hehehe
