What is you favourite weapon in game?

Oh, I didn’t know that.
I was confused because there were so many families.

Yeah, it’s completely understandable.

Btw. My guess is sniper STG-44 will be higher BR just for the fact you can disassemble its scope (So it’s logical upgrade for its branch). On sniper MKb, you can’t. But I like sniper Mkb more.

I did not know that I could remove the scope of the Sniper StG. New learning.

Lunge mine is my favourite thing in the game, the ability to instantly delete any tank if you know what you are doing is hilarious.

I do also like the Sig M1920, Type 96 LMG, M2 Carbine, M1919A6, M9 Bazooka, overstamp Thompson, Pederson Rifle , Kiraly and Dt-29; not necessarily in that order though.

All of them.
I haven’t got very far in any campaign but I like most all weapons.
Except for the M1918 starter in the pacific.

Bolt-action rifles all.
M1 carbine but after ammo normalization is terribly weak.

do you really think the Sniper STG 44 will have a higher battle rating? in the end that weapon will be limited to snipers…

  1. M1G
  2. MP38/40
  3. Thompson M1A1
  4. Mosin M891/30 Dragoon
  5. Karabiner 98k
  6. Lee Enfield
  7. MG34
  8. M1918A2 BAR
  9. PTRD-41
  10. PPSh41

Not really because of stats

AVT-40 is the best, shame you always have to remember to switch it to semi though

man I just found out there actually existed a “FG42 prototype chambered in 8mm kurz”

imagine the memes if that weapon would become a gold order gun!

I’d buy that. It would probably be excellent in game.

And I’m going to raise:

omg hahaha, tho I am pretty sure that is one of those “post war US experiments that led to the M60”

but oh boy… belt fed FG42, if wastedwoodsman would still be alive he’d go rampant over this.

I would say pps42/43.

Or maybe its just another german experimental variant? FG was meant to be rifle, smg and mg all at one.
Soooo maybe they tested also belts?
(not saying that it is this one on picture)

I don’t think so since the FG was specifically developed for the Luftwaffe as a Paratrooper rifle, but I have heard about the US weapon program where the US specifically combined a FG42 with the feeding system of a MG42 - which then ultimately led to the creation of the US M60 which basically still today has the same feeding system of a MG42

That’s, reportedly, indeed an US postwar experiment.

(Inb4 golden weapon for US)

haha yea belt fed FG42 to fight against the Japanese then confirmed? haha

It was exacly the reason why it had to be universal. Ultimate gun for paratroopers, giving them enough fire power on them, to be able to fight before geting to dispenser. Thats why Iam curious if they ever consider belts. Whole construction was so expens…I mean elite that FG would probably stay in one piace, no matter strains. And there were quite a few prototypes of the same gun I think. Diffrance in used materials but still there is a place for FGMG concept;]

heard the same
