Purchased the Jumbo to help me grind on the US side because the armor stats seemed decent. Seems like if a bird shits on it, it blows up! What the hell? Why is this tank so expensive if it keeps getting one shotted from the front? The armor stats on this tank seem deceptive. Was this tank nerfed?

It’s not invincible, the Panther’s 75mm goes straight through it and the Tiger’s 88, other 75mm cannons can destroy it easily by shooting the MG port or the commander’s cupola.

The jumbo (for what ever reason) has an extremely easy to destroy ammo rack, same goes for Panzer IV F2 and many others, jumbos have totally overpowered frontal armor - but otherwise they suck pretty bad.
If you can get the chance to hide your MG port, you are basically immortal to everything but Panther tanks, however you yourself can’t even fight panzer III M and Stugs, and once your armor doesn’t face 100% straight towards the enemy target, chances are very high that something could hit you in the tracks from the side - which will always one hit kill you.
Jumbos are troll tanks in my mind, you make other people hate playing as tankers - while you are also having a bad time.
76mm Jumbo could change that, but in my mind the MG port weak spot kinda will always break the game design. Why is it only the Jumbos MG port that has this insane weakness, while all other tanks are not effected by this?
Turret shot traps are a more realistic and much needed mechanic - but to simply only nerf the performance of one vehicle because it was again for what ever reason necessary to make them face Panzer IVs on the same campaign levels is very confusing to me.
On a different note, I am seriously questioning the upcoming BR mechanic on vehicle balance,
In what BR will the Jumbo fit? Panzer IV will complete be dominated by them Jumbos while they themselves are gonna be complete useless against Panthers.

Maybe we will see tanks like Hetzer added to that br.
KV 1? Seriously? That shouldn’t even be supperior than T34s.
Also we actually have that in the form of the Jagdpanzer IV L48 now apparently not just an event vehicle anyone. On the test servers it seems to be a new independent unlock.
Hetzer and Jagdpanzer IV L48 are practically the same vehicle - same 60mm sloped armor and same 7.5 cm gun.
Tho I am pretty sure even the short barrel Jagdpanzer IV should have 80mm of armor like the L70 version.
The jumbos frontal is unpennable by any german guns. The mg port is the weakspot but it will take time to aim for it so you should have enought time to kill them. Use the capped rounds to frontal pen unangled tigers
