there is nothig new or intresting in stalingrad its literally just moscow 2.0, playing this campaign its just a waste of time.

apart that it has a huge playerbase issue, and if you want the full experience you need to pay

ā€œFull Accessā€ happened.
It is the only campaign I haven’t maxed out and probably never will.

The only problem with Stalingrad is the complaining about the campaign, it will get new maps and levels over time, the devs will not leave it, the same map at the moment does get a little repetitive but the gameplay is fun imho.

The whole f2p pay to win discussion is getting stale now, I have played that campaign with f2p players who aren’t bothered.

It is not full of bots on the contrary, unless you choose Europe server at 3-4am, I have in fact found it quicker to load and have players too during peak times.

The only thing which I like personally, is that it takes a coordinated effort to push certain maps, ie Axis Tanks using HE on windows, rallies being built, smoke screens being dropped.

It is player base decision which make or breaks this game, like Jumbos in Normandy mg sniping never pushing it supporting the advancing troops trying to take the point, sniping soldiers sitting back not advancing so Frontline never moves, other people relying on someone else to put rallies down, it all depends on type of players, I will even hold my hand up, I’m end game and sometimes just like to fly all game.

People moan about bomb spam if anyone actually watched the story of Stalingrad, how German bombers, stukas bombed the city for days on end, initially soviets lost parts of the city, the close house to house battles, eventually tables turned Germans became encircled and over 7000 Soviet artillery guns opened fire on them who were instructed not to surrender by high command, I watched one yesterday, very insightful.

I think we will see tractor factory, other areas too when it’s time. I personally will look forwards to then.

I recommend you watch TIKs Battlestorm Series - its excellent in the detail and I’ve got just about all the books he references. It’s very informative.

it should have been intergarted into moscow and just been named the east front

The main problem of Stalingrad is lack of Japanese weapon, Japanese tanks and Japanese maps.

That what people wanted.
I said it since the start.

1st Full access and locking lots of good stuff behind the pay wall
2nd 3 maps gets boring really quickly
3rd A lot of bots on both sides (as predicted long ago) because lots of them maxed out this campaign/more likely to find f2p if there are no bots

I am not talking for anyone but myself.

It is not pay 2 win for me, it is just that I do not like to grind all levels and only be able to use half of them.

To me this move is still greedy, to lock stuff away to make people spend money. I happily spent money on the game before, as it felt optional and I was grateful. Since Stalingrad I haven’t spent any money and will not in the future.

I haven’t played Stalingrad much, but when ever I do, there is BA campers, a lot of them, on both teams. I do not like that.

But yeah it is kinda easy for me, whatever cool stuff they add, that I might enjoy, I will not play Stalingrad as long as campaign levels are locked away with ā€œFull accessā€.

I will never understand why they went the almost DLC route instead of keeping the microtransaction one myself.

I think it would have been perfectly fine if left as is.
And in the end they sorta did by adding Premium squads well after the fact.

Overall I’ve found the gameplay personally to be okay. It does need more maps and areas in the mix to keep it engaging but thats a personal preference.

I guess that explains (you not playing much) why you’ve not even noticed the messages when I see you online.
Well, good luck out there regardless Schmetterwurm. Hopefully you find something else out there you like.

Oh I didn’t even knew that you messaged me! I haven’t used the windows gamebar XBOX thingy since … well since you stopped playing enlisted . But yeah I also have my mic not on my desk anymore and do play Enlisted only every now and than.

I do lots of sports, bodybuilding and hiking, meeting friends, dating so yeah … not much time left for gaming! Hope you are doing well my canadian friend!

No worries, I tried on Gamebar and Reddit but had no response so I assumed, much like I did, you took a break from everything.

Totally understandable with life. I bought my first house, so I’ve also spent a ton of time finally having a full fledged Garden, more rescue dogs, doing fundraising for Ukraine (and organizing Aid). I only got back into this a little while ago.

Well if you ever want to chill with a more relaxing game, there is always Valheim. It what I was playing while I was on my break. Good fun. Espically with friends.

Stalingrad is kinda fun, and the full access thing is nice for me, because I lack free time.

But I wouldn’t have locked anything. I’d gladly have paid the full price even if everything was unlockable already, if only for the reduced grind, the lowered equipment prices and boosted stars.

That aside… Stalingrad needs maps, and as @Shiivex confirmed to me last time, Traktor factory is coming at last (probably next patch!) :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Prepare yourself for 1km X 1km map with 34 differente variation of the same map
