I’m just wondering what is the Medal for Special Courage and Valor in Battle for troops? I have Josen Dallmeiher (from the twitch drops - the rank 4 soldier) and it has a little Iron Cross next to his name, says its a Medal for Special Courage and Valor in Battle, and I can’t send him to the academy since he’s a “hero”. I’ve never seen this (Not even in CBT) and I want to know if it does anything and if I can how to get it for other soldiers.
He was an actual Iron Cross recipient. The unique soldiers are soldiers that actually distinguished themselves in real life. That’s about it.

It was the same for the soldiers from the 1st twitch drop event.
Seems you are right. The US battlepass soldier “Walter Ehmers” seems similar to Walter Ehlers a real Medal Of Honor recipient who served in the 1st Infantary Division “Big Red One” which just so happens to be the Rifleman squad in enlisted.
