Are we playing the same game?
Some guys run around with FG42 but most of the players run around with all the guns you mentioned. They use boltaction, semiauto, sniper rifles, smgs, mortar, flamethrower…

well, because they dont have them yet.
i couldnt care if there wasnt a fg42. but still people forget about avs/avt , and probably the best “smg” to run on US , the m2 carbine… but anyway
i run assaulter squads prety much everywhere.
if there was no FG, i would still run mp43 in normandy and/or barettas/mp35’s in berlin.
and guess what… wouldnt change nothing for me.
i started using fg42’s on the event a litle, and 2 squads with it now, but i dont see the need to have them over an assault squad with proper smg’s/mp43.
maybe, if the fg wasnt avaiable in berlin, i could use the vegetable 1-5 in other classes than assaulters in berlin exacly like we did in pre-alpha tests like 2 years ago.
realistically, people would just pick a different gun they deem “too op” that they would want to remove from the game lol
