I am pretty sure there was a unit patch of the Ironsides in one of these vests for the US tankers. But none of these vests seem to have the unit patch as of now. I think it has been replaced like many other customization pieces after the latest update. I would request @Euthymia07, @Shiivex to kindly look into this issue and forward it to the devs.

A long time ago, and most noticeably on Normandy, you could see unit patches.
It was removed.
As to why- One can guess.
My personal suspicion is that certain units and nations don’t normally have unit patches, so it would be a case of cosmetics being only benefitting the factions that made unit insignia. The soviets and the japanese don’t really have them.

The patches are in the game’s files. I read somewhere that the devs took it out… i dont understand.

Yep. No idea why they didn’t implement this feature in this BP. Perhaps they are saving it up for the Steam release.
