What happened to the decals?

All the classic balkenkreuz decals have been replaced with black boxes on my tanks and aircraft ? I understand that some German symbology had to be modified but I thought these were generic enough to be historically viable.

Have I missed something ?

EDIT - its not just German decals, I’m also missing the stars on some of the US aircraft as well.

Must be some graphics bug.

Out of curiosity, any idea why this harmonisation feature exists ? What’s its purpose ?

For certain things с:, but mostly it’s needed for streamers on some platforms.
