I used to play in maps with darkness .not pitch black like middle of the night but more like evening and dawn darkness. They were phenomenal. Did they deleted them ?

They should delete them but they actually didnt
I’ve seen quite a few in Moscow.
It looks good but it is terrible for spotting enemies. Sometimes you can barely see anyone ,especially in a room.

In theory it sounds fun but it seriously sucks since you can’t see anyone. God forbid they have dark outfits. One example is the new Tractor factory map, spotting enemies can be a big problem and it’s really not even that dark.
THe graphics engine is not compatible with such a dark mode … the render of light is just so bad u cant see anyone in a romm camping at windows … so no fun so sh1t mode

Dx12 mode can delete all dark áreas, like an exploit
Just add more lights
I play recently a game on Berlin at dawn, it was amazing.
And another game in Stalingrad with rain and lightning.
I want more of it.
I also play a game of a custom map in Moscow at night. It was difficult to see but the ambiance was amazing.
I hope the next big update will be something during night with flaregun.
