wrong section… you should have put it in mess room.

done

At first I personally wanted a Sicily Campaign but I’ve gotten really into the Pacific zone

How many Pacific campaigns do you think we’ll get in total?

I want Matchmaking

I’m really looking forward the Pacific campaign.

If Enlisted was a TV show, Stalingrad campaign would be the season 8 of Game of Throne.

Hoping for the Pacific to drop soon since I’m running out of campaigns to grind.

But other updates I would like :

Ability to sell bulk special weapons (Mortars, Bazookas, etc)

Ability to sell small ammo pouches, small grenade pouches, etc

Mounting function improved and MG dispersion fixed

Better match making

I’d like to see some re-design work creeping in. We’ve had numerous discussions about things that just don’t work well in the current meta writ large.

I’d like to see a re-design of the core squads, and a separation of specialists into appropriate “teams”.
With this a separation of specialisations into their own tree - so you unlock specialists other than rifleman separately and then you can use them in the core squad, AND specialist teams that become a deployment choice outside the core squad.
The core soldiers come from the soldier tree which serves to provide a baseline of training consistent with some form of historical level of training from conscript to regular infantry man. The veteran status plus is achieved later in the actual campaign where the squad “develops in the crucible of battle”

So AT, Mor, Sniper, FT and Radio operator should become specialists with their own teams and perks.
Core squad subsumes SMG, LMG roles along with Riflemen and gives additional focus on historical squad structure / make up.

This would allow both a blancing of weapons quantities - since we can begin to have historical or at least campaign adjusted for gameplay and abstraction levels of availability of certain weapons, as well as the actual make up of the squads to start to differentiate the different roles for the squads themselves - ie Regular Inf, Armoured Inf, Assault Inf etc… as underpinned by WWII doctrine.

Equally I would like to see weapon development trees separated into their own tree so that you can do it once per nation and apply it to all campaigns.

The Campaigns should focus on balancing the number and type of squads/specialist teams that represent a given scenario, and the sequence in which those squads/teams are unlocked. This gives the devs some flexibility in the finer differentiation of role that I eluded to earlier.

For example if we take Germany with their regular squads in Moscow being sections of 10 with 1x LMG, 2x SMG for Ldr and 2IC and the remainder being K98, this squad can feature some level of progression from the unlock tree that provides players with Class 1- 3 core soldiers then are subsequently levelled into hardened veterans.
The perks should be adjusted accordingly to reflect this which includes soldiers gaining access to the wider gamut of weapons available in the broader game from esoteric to captured - some limitations and controls would apply to prevent full squads of German squads armed with PPsh-41 or vice versa Soviet Squads armed with an equivalent captured weapon - continuing with the above example.

Aditional Campaign unlocks should also focus on squad customisaion of uniforms, loadouts etc… to get players immersed in the Campaigns themselves, whilst being able to manage their troops and weapons for those campaigns separately.

The new Pacific campaign would then be able to leverage this to help it achieve a modicum of balance, with reasonable game abstraction, without going full retard in inventing or representing blue print weapons from around the globe to feed the inevitable - don’t want to re-unlock old weapons complaints that will follow.

did you have to compare it with season 8?

Never. Launching a new campaign leaving behind problems to be fixed is like using painkillers without healing the wounds.

A few new maps would work wonders for Stalingrad.

(Tractor factory, winter?)

I don’t think Pacific is coming already, maybe December?

They need to merge Stalingrad with Moscow and add Leningrad campaign so you would have 3 in one with various maps and different vehicles and weapons. You should be unlocking 3 things each level that would be usable only on those specific maps, but that would require them to increase bronze/silver gain by 3x.

I mean no offense, but sadly

Possible but unlikely

Highly unlikely

We’ll be riding unicorns before that happens

Campaigns merging for a global conquest is possibile, but as separete mod and in form of a long event, like ww2 mode of war thunder
