I’m just curious as when I played this campaign, I thought it is basically useless.
In comparison to the det pack it has no throwing range and has to be manually detonated. At the same time it has no advantages.
In comparison to AT mines its worse as I have to manually detonate it and it has no advantages.

Is good, wo say is bad is because cant use eye for place here on the driver hatch
I like it in general, since it’s a separate slot you can always have it as backup to det pack, just wish its throwing range was at least a 1 meter and not 1 cm, it’s not like it weighs a ton.
Sometimes when a tank is driving by, you miss it by just a tiny bit and it just drives off.

i would equip everyone on every campaign with it in a heartbeat.

I dont mind it. Occasionally comes in handy, but that’s all.

why? (assuming you don’t have unlimited ammount of orders)
Because you can have a backup plan in case you miss your shot with the explosive pack. It’s also useful on demolition mode, you can put TNT near the objective and detonate it when the enemies get close.

i usually place it on front of Kv-1, it was the first way ive developed on how to destroy that tank, many times because of vastness of stalingrad maps, people just dont notice enemy soldier on top of their tank
or placing it as a booby trap… i think evverony is doing this because what else can be done with it …
I want to have an ability to trigger the TNT pack from the dead soldier who placed it, if im lucky to find him on the ground
It’s good In Stalingrad
In here, the dinamite bundle is nerfed a lil bit, which makes the tnt pack a surefire way to destroy vehicles.
It’s truly dangerous though. I’m too eager and always detonate before running far enough away to a safe distance…
I blow up myself with the tank, for avoid some **** can kill me before kill the tank

i think the TNT is a good tool, so you can have explosives and frag/smokes grenades.
allows for different strant and build.
plus, i always find that it’s more convenient for me to stick one of those, and blow them up at distance ( or my self with it ).
perhaps, it’s more effective in stalingrad since the AT weapons are not very effective against latter tanks. explosives pack can still do the job, it’s just something to accompany.
i’d like to see it in other campaigns, but i’d proably only use it in moscow, and perhaps berlin.
I would give my engineers it so when I wanna blow something up (Normandy wall, debris, structures etc.) I don’t have to watse my detpack.
mainly because its an extra tool to deal with tankers, and mines are kinda boring to use and the kills aint rewarding besides trolling an enemy team on a spawn beacon.
either way, i currently have everyone on soviets and axis stalingrad with one, and its always a must to know you can deal with an enemy tank in seconds if the tnt pack fails to deliver a kill.
silver orders farming isnt the issue for me, bronze is to upgrade last weapons i still have to upgrade.
It should replace the exposive packs in their role honestly. Delete the explosive pack from all classes except AT-gunner so people would use frags, smokes and molotovs for more reasons except “I don´t have enough explosive packs”. Might give tanks more breathing room so you´re not forced to sit in the back all the time.
Thowing a molotv at the engine to immobilize it, then running up to him to place the charge sounds more like a realistic tactic than larping as demoman.

It’s ass. They have to increase the range of it significantly to make it good.
