What do you think of assault mode?

It is necessary to capture 2 strongholds at the same time
but
Your teammates are often all concentrated in the same stronghold
And you have to keep going to the side with fewer people.
We just captured the stronghold, but the monkeys on the other side either haven’t captured it yet or just lost it.

Even if you seize the stronghold many times
Those monkeys can never help you share the other side

I don’t care about those games where you can have over 10,000 experience points a game
I just hope those monkeys know how to write victory and tactics
Rather than just being a gun target without any thinking ability

Extremely annoying. Since you idealy need 3 rally points for each objective. Meaning 6 rally points in total. Not a realistic thing when playing not stacked faction.

And I think devs agree. Since pacific, we didn’t get a complete new assault mode map. There always wre only slight tweaks since then

I just play those maps, as i only need to hold 2 points, so i can now leave a rally/apc at each point.

I actually play all maps/modes, i like all, :smile:

the game mode it self is alright.

but 75% of this player base don’t know how to play it… and most of them are a let down because it’s mostly centered around rally points and push further to destroy enemy rallies. both for attack and defense. yet majority of the time matches ends too quickly because defenders don’t stay on point and don’t have enough rally points, or because attackers don’t attack and don’t build enough rallies either.

it’s a damn shame.

dam tbh i think the official really screw up this mode since defender only really need to defend 1 side and then send a little bit of guy to the other point

but i get a lot of point so i aint complaining much

If it is a normal attack mode, even if there are many deserters on our side, we can still seize the stronghold and fight our way through.
Assault mode makes the attacker without the ability to cooperate act like a clown with an uncoordinated brain and body.

When your teammates don’t have enough combat capabilities
This mode is the most painful
Look at the number of damn meeting points
Our 4th place even had a sniper medal

The only thing worse than this is occupation mode
Scattered enemies, few teammates, constant running

basically all of enlisted rn

Leningrad needs adjustments on this mode, after the merge. Its almost impossible to cap both points at the same time when they are so close to each other. (Railroad side)

I like it - it gives an actual teamwork challenge to attackers.

Sure sometimes (often!) your attacking team is full of mumpties without a clue, but also sometimes you get on a role and win in style, which is very satisfying.

Also it is great for grinding - even losing as the attacker it makes a long game that gives lots of score and RP.

If teams are competent, it’s a quite fun gamemode. Otherweise it’s just a grind for the 1st objective untill attackers’ reinforcements deplete.
And I guess this applies to every gamemode.

I just thought about something. Is invasion so polular just because it’s the easiest gamemode to carry solo?

Best for fighting alone
For the attacker
As long as the enemy is not a team player or super player
It only takes 2 people to have a chance of victory

the most important point
Your efforts will be reflected in the capture progress of the stronghold
he won’t disappear
It only takes a few visits to completely occupy it.

Depending on the specific point, each point should only be captured once.

Most people hate it. I see it as an extra challenge where I need at least 1 decent player, preferably my buddy, to guarantee victory

This gamemode is really tough because as you cap one and move to the other point the enemy had already taken it and some maps its nearly impossible to move forward. However, sometimes i have blitzed real easy so its not all bad

It’s hard (as attacker) because all the noobs and bots do this, and not enough stay and hold the one jsut taken

That’s why I choose one objective, build my rally point for that one, send my artillery strike to the opposite one to help them out a little, and stick to the one I’ve chosen. Let the randoms try and figure out how to take the other one
