What could the Kursk campaign look like?

I wonder what could look the battle of Kursk in 1943.

On the Soviet side:

  • T-34-76 - able to pen Panzer IV G / H from the front, and a Panther D/A from the side.
  • KV-1 - same as T-34 but with better armor (200 tanks were used)
  • tank destroyers - SU-122, SU-76 and maybe SU-85 (about 100- 150 were used)
  • infantry weapons - same as in Stalingrad

Axis:

  • Panzer IV G + H
  • Panther D + Tiger H / E (on 3000 tanks used, only 200 were Panthers and 260 Tigers)
  • Ferdinand as a tank destroyer
  • same infantry weapons as in Stalingrad (NO gewehr 43 !!!)

It could be only truly good campaign for a tanks battles, as it would require to flank the Tigers and Panthers by T-34-76.
But - bigger maps = more running for infantry :mechanical_leg: :mechanical_leg: :mechanical_leg:

Don’t overlook the large number of defensive positions, direct or curved fire artillery, mines, and soldiers.

I would camp for few days as a mortar man or machinegunner till game would kick me for the interactivity. That’s the one way to return home and avoid the war i guess.

for a campaign, there won’t be a “Campaign” it’ll probably become another map after the merge.

I think it’s a great idea…

What Kursk? According to some 200IQ ppl we shouldn’t have Kursk, Berlin or Normandy maps. Just Generic ww2 map no4.
That’s what ppl want, right?

When I want historical accuracy I can read some book or watch documentary. But a multiplayer game needs to be perfectly balanced, and Enlisted is not.

This implies symetrical maps and equipment. So maps that have nothing to do with ww2 + fedorov for everybody.

I think I’m more willing to suffer imbalance rather than boredom.
