From my perspective they are quite janky (if not half-ass made).
But I don’t make videos so maybe they work fine in this role?
My main complains are that I can’t directly controll the height, I have to turn the camera and move forward/backward. Also for some reason I have to observe some player and it causes me to hear theit surroundings and have their screen effects like fire and blood.
When the camera is unlocked from the model you can press E to increase height, but there are no keybind to decrease height. You can also press Z to zoom but again no keybind that I know of to unzoom.
i find the function great. especially as a youtuber i don’t want to miss it anymore.
Space key to use free camera
after enabling free camera via ‘3’ and pressing space:
‘E’ increase height
‘C’ decrease height
‘Z’ zoom in
'‘Q’ zoom out
