I did some research on the temple on the cover and I think is a “semi realistic map” as all the other are

The temple should be based on the pre earthquake “eim ya kyaung” because it share the similiar art style with the one of the cover
(History channel stuff)

Did they base it on this photo? Because I can’t find any information on battles taking place in Baga. Mandalay, on the other hand, had a decisive battle take place there.
That has yet to be decided.

Yea I too didn’t find battle near temple, I guess is a reference to the temple i posted up, who in 2016 was badly damaged by an earthquake

Mandalay did have it’s fair share of temples, so maybe the devs meant it to be Mandalay.
