its ok. good for tank busting. isnt really better or worse than the a-20 imo. it would probably be better to just have the a-20 and p38 in your lineup, then you have one for tanks and one for infantry (which is also pretty decent against tanks), and not just the p-47 that is good against tanks and ok against infantry
but if you only have one slot to spare you might be better of using this one

Sorry I just noticed this. This plane was a reward for an event last year, and I earned it and then promptly forgot about it until, one magical day, I hit level 18 on the Allies in Normandy.
(Start playing “A Whole New World” from the Aladdin soundtrack.)
I haven’t even looked at the A-20 yet. There’s simply no need. I’ve downed 109s with this thing, 110s, 410s, Ju-188s, a couple seagulls that were looking at me funny, you name it.
If it’s German and has treads, tracks, wheels or legs, I’ve smacked the living hell out of it with this thing.
My only historical gripe is that the model number is incorrect.
It should be the P-47D-22-REEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
I’m sure I’ve racked up a large number of complaints using this aircraft. It’s the best thing I’ve flown so far in Enlisted across the 4 campaigns. Hands down.

That seems pretty cramped. Do you usually drop them on the objective or do you just launch them out like Wfr. Gr.21s ?

some weight was needed to fill the 250kg bomb 
you know… last ditch weapons as materials are getting scarce for germany industry at this stage of the war.

M8 is a HEAT warhead so kils tanks when it hits - but I’ve not found it particularly accurate in getting those hits in the first place!
Much easier and more effective to spread a few HVAR in the general area - with 5 salvoes you even get to correct your aim.

This promotional aircraft is very good, it is more maneuverable and better in dogfight than the P-47 that opens in the campaign. As for missiles, HVAR is currently the most powerful, effective and best missiles in the whole game, they destroy tanks very easily, just as easily and effectively they destroy infantry en masse.
