Wen we get our pve mod?

Im waiting for her since stalingrad, keofox said that soon™ we gonna get pve mod, and 6 months are passed still nothing

Im gonna be honest a pve mode with some modes like

  • coperative horde
  • single player daily mission with reward
  • a normal match player vs AI battle with 0.5exp
  • monthly war scenario, ecc…

Can make the overall experience of the game better, expecially for the grinding part with unpopulated faction, the game also have a huge problem of repetition with all the actual modes wo are copy of invasion but worse and after the initial hype the game become boring, for this i think we need pve

you have no idea how eager i am for that.

i am working on it ( more like, working a huge ass concept ideas of mines ) for improve it because i feel like devs are rushing to much stuff.

so in my and their defense, i rather that it will come later but well kitted out.

because we have to count one factor.

PVE in gaming has become one among the largest " piece of the cake " when it comes to market in the recent years. as, there are quite many people that invest so much money into pve titles. if we consider that not many other titles out there are similar to enlisted, i think they can have a huge chunk of playerbase as similar titles to enlisted with same ( ish ) sort of mechanics are quite old with graphic and engines. so enlisted can succeed as long it’s done well though…

in the current state, i think pve it’s okey since bots are quite responsive. although we still lack of vehicles with AIs ( which i feel like we are getting closer as we have AI targeting system on weapons and some vehicles within the editor )

i really hope it’s gonna be a banger. as i’m all for pve in enlisted.

but… without the tools in the editor, it’s a bit hard for me to showcase it. ( plus lack of time, and all the others stuff that i have to do related to that.

EDIT.

pve will be coming in the editor for the moment though…
as they mentioned there and not in the base game. but with that, maybe me and others modders will be able to show it’s full potential. only time will tell.

Good idea

Main reason why i like Insurgency Sandstorm is because of PvE gamemode, devs could apply the similar system of those missions like capturing specific zones then trying to hold them protected while there’s a swarm of AI enemies, and vehicles

I like to also imagine a unit of like 6 or 8 people as one squad with similar mechanics of the “lone fighters mode”
Could be a game changer, especially with the new pacific
