The event is so f* horrible, for the record, I’m not a sweaty twitch gamer, I’m am an older player on PS and I don’t want to compete against the 20yr old PC headshot kings. I don’t want to have to try, I simply want to immerse myself in WW2 game.

PC and PS players together, ok I’m competitive in base game fine, on this, it is not fair to use controller vs MKB
I spawned and got shot in back 8 times in a row, are you f* kidding me???
Paid BP and FOMO, I’m grinding BP because I don’t want to miss weapons, but it is not cool to leave weapons behind paywall.
Zero team play aspect, just sweaty tryhards, TF* no leaderboard!

Honestly the “someone spawned behind and instantly killed me” gimmick is really fucking annoying. But the thing that drives me mental, is how this entire event is luck based, you can just get fucked sometimes because no one spawned on your side of the map, and you just somehow keep running through the middle of the map without meeting another, the burma has to be the worst for that.
The best way to play this event is to not play it. If you want the rewards just afk. All the tasks only require you to be in the game but you dont have to do anything
Yeah, I don’t know how many times I spawned just to get shot or fried before I could take a step. But what really pisses me off is all the losses my Allies are taking because some knucklehead at Dark Force thought it would be cute to tie the event into the Allies. So, I have played one actual game tonight with the Allies, which I won, but I have seven losses attached to them since I was stupid enough to play the event.
Dark Force should just shit can the event now as I am done with it. I gave it a chance. You know, if they are going to tie event shit that has NOTHING to do with our squads, then stop counting w/l % all together because it is far from accurate if we’re getting tagged with games we didn’t play. Whoever at DF that put this event together should be given his or her walking papers.
The event is really low quality and was probably made in an hurry. The wr thing is likely an bug that they didnt bother to fix. I personally dont care about wr or k/d ratio so it isnt an problem to me but i could see some people getting upset
Though players are more motivated to stay thanks to the veteran’s box, some still do leave which is a problem since some maps such as Rzhev feel empty without 10 players so in the future similar gun games (in Enlisted or not) need to have a dynamic map which gets smaller and smaller with every player that has deserted.
I played on Rzhev the first day and 4 of 10 players left, thus the remaining people kept running around in circles which lasted for half an hour and wasn’t very fun especially since a match in Normandy manor lasts ony 7-12 minutes.
It really is a horrible event. Only reason why I am forcing myself to play it is because of the loot boxes, which so far I have been able to acquire 2 squads from (shitty Soviet Radio squad with SVT 40 and shitty Soviet SPAA but free squads so nice nonetheless).
Half the matches though you either spawn not even near anyone so you end up hunting for so long and fall behind in score or you spawn slightly late and someone is able to get 5 kills before you can even do anything. I also had a match earlier today in the event that had a bug that caused my character to melee over and over with the butt-end of the gun without stopping, which is a bug I haven’t ran into yet.
Spawn killing is a big problem. I’ve been able to unlock the next weapon in the line just because the same guy kept spawning near me over and over. Straight up eliminating the same poor guy 3 to 4 times in a row.
The weapons are also really annoying but I suppose that is maybe part of the challenge. (Bazooka is the worst thing ever, people complain about the sword pistol but its so much better since you can just melee charge everyone to death with it quickly)
if you have 2 screens you can AFK to event, just tab in every couple of mins so you dont get kicked for AFK. You dont even need two screens, its just easier that way.
Please just don’t do these things if they are going to come out like that. It takes away resources from improving the actual game and the silly event BP forces people to play it long after it worn out it’s welcome…making them burn out and become resentful
It also makes the base game play like crap, because it collapses pop for normal battles
I dunno, for april fools just do goofy stuff like Universal Carrier death battle or race, some party style minigames or whatever and don’t make players grind them on a timer…
