Nah, it will remain fine if it’s just presented as events like last time. I think people in general liked it.
I didn’t bother participating myself as the rewards are uninteresting to me (avatars and silly doodles surrounding names), but what’s important here is that most people, do. And because of that we should give them so they enjoy the game more.
But you are talking about ranked matches that were separate to the main game. OP is suggesting making the main game ranked.
It’s a completelly different situation.
