Weapons that should be for engineers and their original class

US: Adding another m1918a2 (with much less shot deviation and no bipod) to t5 which would be for machine gunners and engineers since it wasn’t only for machine gunners in the war but it was also meant to be used as an automatic rifle. Especially when it’s in the name.

Russia: box mag ppSh and pps42 for assaulters and engineers since it was massively used by sappers and smg companies (which mainly replaced their mosins with these smg’s). But these 2 versions should be at t5. Keep the older versions as they are

Germany: mp43 since Germany were making the attempt to form the sturmzug squad structure which was mainly fighting in the Ardennes but also saw quite a bit of combat in Berlin.

Japan: adding another type 100 late to the t5 tree for assaulters and engineers as it was mostly used by imperial guard units and widely used by the teishin shudan squads. And of course bc Japan needs a little more content anyway.

My last post was the wrong way of going about it, so this one I’m not gonna insist on removing anything.

a BAR for enginner ?
i though carbines were for engineers and support.

Yea they were but the game made mkb’s available for assaulters and engineers before the merge so why can’t it be done with the bar with machine gunners and engineers?

can I equip the mkb on an engineer now ? :exploding_head:

to me the BAR is an oversized auto rifle.
maybe rifleman should have it instead of the protoM14

Agreed. Perhaps a riflemen only weapon just like rifle grenades or an available for all rifle classes?

nah rifleman only i dont see how an engineer/radio/AT gunner should have something that heavy
