I have a simple question. What will happend to a weapon or a piece of equipement (for example explosion pack) if I equip it to a soldier and I will send that soldier to the academy? Will this weapon disappear or will it be automatically unequipped before the training starts? So, should I unequip all items of my soldiers before I send them to the academy? Thanks.
according to the devs they are supposed to un-equip automatically. But during closed beta there were some bugs … sometimes they did but also reports that they were not un-equipping.
I think most people just do it manually as a safety precaution

Hi, they return to your inventory after your academy is done training. I usually unequip them because if you train level 3 and up it takes an hour or more to train and before the weapons come back.
As had been said, they will be returned after the academy is completed, unless that soldier is returned, then they keep it.
But best to just dearm, especially if it’s a 4* soldier and the weapon is unavailable for 8(4) hours
My head cannon is that they all go through a test. Whoever gets the best score then goes on to go get proper training while the others get assigned to different squads

The other 2 go to other units - if you read a bit of history about Soviet NCO training that’s how they did it - you would go to NCO school at division or army level, then be assigned to a different unit than the one you came from.
