Weapons and vehicles of the "Tigers of Burma" update

Show me evidence of where the AS-44, T20, the new assault rifle of the Allies in WW2 was used in combat

Isnt Mg42 one of the first and definitely the most successful GPMG (General purposes machine gun) it was so good that Budeswer adopted it after war just changed the ammo the Nato rounds and designated them as MG-3 first MG-3s were literally just MG42 chambered in nato round and later variants were so close to MG42 that you could interchange parts between 2 , though german army should have phased it out from infantry use for H&K MG 5 by now though MG3 will still be in service as Tank and APC MG

Looks like Japan is the only nation which is in a backwards position due to not having an assault rifle and rockets. Sad. And also where is the type 92 light machine gun?

Oh no, Japan has no AR. It’s not like Type Hei Auto is the best weapon in the game and can easily take place of AR.

Type Hei automatic rifle plays as an AR should!
ARs we have in game are just glorified SMGs with slightly buffed damage and less dispersion.

I get pretty tired of this point being made. The Assaulter soldiers have significant extra speed which makes them a very fun and strong class. Type Hei can not be carried by assaulters, meaning an assault rifle would stil be really nice to have.

It is also very ussefull for those who want to double wield weapons. Type Hei cant be combined with any weapon that as strong. Assaulters only get close up weapons like the Tokyo arsanal. An assault rifle would be really usefull and also would ad some more diversity to the Japanese TT

Besides, then we can finally do an assault engineers event for Americans and Japanese, something which a lot of people want.

And if type hei is a strong argument, than so was the M2 Carbine. Then Americans also had no need for the Hyde (which is stronger that the StG and AS). So like defuq, stop complaining about Jap-players asking for some fair treatment of their faction.

Also rockets, Japs really need rockets that can deal with strong tanks.

Significant definitely not xD plus radio operators II have more mobility perk points than assaulters IV.

So you argumentation is extremely weird. You should be glad you can use such weapon with soldier that’s more mobile than Assaulters IV.

They have one AR which is type 2A chambered for 6.5x30 type 95 round it is what many today would consider an intermediate round and was tested by military and beside the point but type 2A was also tested with 7.7x30 mm round (6.5 mm is smaller than normal 6.5 rounds we see in Arisakas and same for 7.7 mm round it is smaller than 7.7 mm in type 99)which is also an intermediate round , and it was also tested with 8.65x30 round (I assume some variation of 8mm nambu) but only 6.5 mm round went to military tests and 7.7 and 8.65 were tested in laboratory

First, this argument does not work at all in the Japan specific case. The Type Hei does not have enough bullits, 60 rounds is gone in like one or two engagements. For other classes this is not a problem, but Radio operaters cant have ammo pouches. For others nations this is also not a problem, just dual wield the two strongest select fire rifles, but Japan only has one select fire rifle.
I play Jap radio operaters a lot and I always end up having to use the Type 4 semi-auto. Which is good dont get me wrong, but it is lacking on BRV and is bad for assualting positions. Assaulters with an AR even have the option to dual wield SMG-assault rifle combinations. So the assaulters are way better.

Second, radio men have a rather weak five man squad in which you can only add two radio operators. While an assault squad can hold four assaulters and three other soldiers for a total of seven. So, running radio squad to assault positions compared to an assault squads is very underpowered, especially in the Japanese case because of the problems mentioned earlier.

‘So not getting an AR because type Hei + radio operators’, I find this a rather weak counter argument and it shows that you dont really play japs at all.

(Also, either assualters or the weapons they use have an inherent mobility bonus as far as I could find. They move faster than other. But I am not terribly surtain about this point. I just find them going faster than others even when I dont have any mobility perks enabled for them. If you know how this works please comment).

No way! Will a Burma map be included or planned for the future? Will the Chinese volunteers only fight in the pacific or Burma if included? Will there be a Chinese volunteer squad in the tech tree???

Its very likely since they named it ‘tigers of Burma’ and they have shown art of a temple in the background meaning they have new assets of a southeast-asian looking temple, which they probably would not make if they are working on a European map.

So I am not saying its confirmed, but its very likely.

Would be really funny if they now introduce and Italian campain or something …

the only way by removing it from the game in favor of italy as a faction

italy is the same what could they have as tank in high br atfer their P40 maybe P43

Can´t wait for it. And can you make free event chinese squad?
It would be pretty cool.

Also please remake the Italian eastern front uniforms. They actually fought at battle of Stalingrad, so why do they have German ones?

It just makes no sense.

Omg such a dumb opinion

If you dont like japs dont pmay them but others do. And then adding Italy as a seperate faction?

Woa 70% recoil control ? STG and AS are 30% with similar recoil stats. And 68 dispersion ?

I suppose M2 Carbine will make this weapon useless on arrival
