Weapons and vehicles of the "Tigers of Burma" update

I’m glad Germany finally gets their 100 round MG42.

But Japan is still lacking content. I was hoping for more planes and some Premium Squads to match the US in this upcoming update.

With this new campaign, this could be an opportunity to introduce Indian squads as well.

I was unaware about the “types of ammunition” thing affecting rof. Interesting.

Btw why do you say infantry used 900rpm while I think all sources you’ve listed here say 1200 was the norm/most common (those that care to be more specific at least)?

Yeah this is just any main’s completely OP wishlist; literal WW2 staples are missing ingame such as SU/ISU series, most of the JP air tree, even basic things like sniper rifles and mortars but alas…

Im kinda shocked how salty Axis players are, after recieving the weapon they were whining about for 2 years. Guys, YOU GOT IT, the Axis playerbase, which is already very populated is gonna grow; you have your thing u asked for! Can you just be HAPPY for once??

Yes, and the second one was on Russian MG34 & MG42 manuals.

don’t wanna put fire on oil but I find it as a joke that an army build with the use of those mg get them in the very last while the other have those since a lot of time, i’m happy for them finally they get it but usa getting the “same” idk what kind of joke is it

i said that 1200 rpm was most common. iirc that 900rpm one was used later in war to lower the rate of fire and expenditure of ammo, although idk how common it was then.

I find that strange If we follow the end war logic, they made the MG 45 with a higher ROF…

It just says they didn’t manage to mass produce it. But they still wanted to apparently.
So this doesn’t answer the question.

I get that but say you are a ISU-122 enjoyer. Where does that leave you? ur gonna get your vehicle LAST, whatever that means.

real question is do u have the missing capability? Do japanes have a 81mm mortar? 60mm? BR4 AT?

Soviets just got a bomber above 500kg payload FINALLY after many many years. Im happy, im not salty asking about the next thing that I think is missing, a critical capability has been fixed.

T5 US heavy tank :white_check_mark:
Bikes for Jap and Sov :white_check_mark:
T5 Sov bomber :white_check_mark:
100belt T5 Axis MG :white_check_mark:
T5 Jap turreted tank :white_check_mark:
T5 US Assault rifle :white_check_mark:
60mm mortar JP :x:
81mm US mortar :x:
JP high tier Sniper :x:
JP high tier AT :x:

Thats how you should be thinking about things, not if my fav side got next superweapon

it was desirable for its cheaper manufacturing. i am not certain if it would have remained at 1500+ rpm if it entered mass production.

It’s truly a sarcasm/satire, don’t mind it. The initial comment I replied made a joke about the name of this update that whether Japan would get a Tiger tank in some Christmas events.

But the worries are ture too, since there was already captured Breda Mod.30, KE-7 (no idea if should also count MAS-36 and M95), and this time RPzB.

If they had problems with ammo, they should have thought about this before mass production. Not as an afterthought. Even if the design was ready, this is quite a critical issue that needs to be solved asap.
We all know “ha ha stupid nazi wunderwafe” and all those jokes but they surely weren’t that stupid. But who knows really.

the isu-122 get a reload quicker than is-2 right ?
yeah i understand they can still add a lot more vehicles etc it’s just the fact that this thing was actually like a legend xD idk how long the german guys asked for this while other got those etc.
I’m not sure if mortar are the really important point japan is missing, and mortar is a rare squad sadly mostly play by random newbie who dunno what to do with.
they need more AT quicklie

I want a major update that involves

  1. Improvements to flight models

2 . More airplanes and premium airplanes

  1. Get rid of stupid aiming reticle

  2. Custom loadouts

captured weapon and captured AT are different thing for my part I would feel less frustrated by getting killed by some captured smg like guerilla squad than getting 100/300 m rekt by RpzB as german. I find the role of the AT weapon is not that representative as IRl. actually in the game we see a tank and it’s like a free kill sometime not even the need to flank him

Entering production in 1942, it was intended to supplement and replace the earlier MG 34, which was more expensive and took much longer to produce, but both weapons were produced until the end of World War II.

used on vehicles, bipods, tripods and by infantry i am sure the aa model did not have the same bpm as the infantry model. because burning through a hundred rounds in four seconds is a poor use of limited ammo.

well cant really comment on their design choices, but higher ROF weapons were usually much harder to control for infantry in LMG role. just cause prototype could reach high ROF with certain configuration, doesnt mean that it would remain in that configuration.

also post war germany made reverse engineered mg42(aka mg3) instead of high ROF mg45.

… and we could call this situation is some “things getting worse”, and captured vehicles on TT became expectable. (yeah ATs are heavy weapons that between small arms and vehicles on TT)
