this is probably stupid but wy the specialized troops do not have their own weapon ex the snipers the sniper rifle but instead start with the classic basic rifle
grind
Because they donāt come with those specific weapons. You will have to give them one ( if you have one in the first place )
this guy gets it
To be fair, I do find that when you unlock a squad with a new firearm, at least one person in the squad HAS that firearm. In terms of obtaining troops and them not coming with their own specialized firearm (snipers not coming with a scoped rifle, assault troops not coming with even a basic SMG, gunners not coming with even a basic LMG, etc.), if you got a BUNCH of the basic equipment then youād very rapidly get the basic equipment leveled up because with every single special soldier you get from a bronze/silver order, you get a special firearm too! With them all starting with nothing or with M1903, it takes longer to level up the more rare firearms.
So yeah, I imagine Gaijinās greed plays a role in it, but I also think it makes sense from the standpoint of it being a free-to-play game which requires time (grinding) to level up stuff. So itās either ādonāt receive the special weapons from troop deliveriesā or⦠well⦠look at the M1903. 2-4 āgearsā per disassembly, takes multiple DOZENS of the rifles to upgrade the firearm to max. With the rare non-standard firearms (not kar98k, M1903, M1907 Carbine, etc.), if you wait until you unlock 100% more āgearsā per disassembly and get 40% off the āgearsā cost of modifications, then it doesnāt take all that many disassemblies to get your special/rare firearms upgraded. Though I hear that as you get firearms that are more and more rare and takes more and more grinding to unlock, it likewise requires more and more gears to upgrade, but I havenāt personally confirmed that yet.
So yeah⦠personally Iād rather the non-starter firearms to be more rare but also take fewer disassemblies or dismantlings in order to upgrade, rather than the M3 Grease Gun and M1903A1 scoped rifle and BREN to require me sitting down and disassembling DOZENS of them to punch some of them up to max-level. I have around 4-6 M1903 rifles that are at 3 stars, fully maxed-out, but I still have over 100, maybe over 200, unmodified M1903 rifles to disassemble⦠I do NOT want to go through that any more than I need to. Someone had suggested being able to just punch in a number (like disassemble 50 or 100 at once), and I am sympathetic to the notion, very much so. Better than just putting the cursor over ādisassembleā and hitting āenterā over and over while you listen to that sound bite constantlyā¦
You are rigth in everithing but its to stupid and unfair expecially in non pay player vs pay players the grinding its not a justification in early game because in war and my grandpa on his father figthing the ww1 and ww2 and the civil war during the 2 conflict (im italian) and from his story i know the specialized forces have their wapon an army don send in war a mortarman withaut a mortar if gaijin want to do this at least permit the player to specialize his soldier directily withaut win them in gatcha or unlock a new squad that require more borness ginding
Granted I havenāt purchased any squads and have only put down the money for the battle pass and the thing that gives you 2x XP and two extra active squads for a match, but I donāt perceive a great difference in capabilities between free players and paying players. The low-paying players like myself (around $20 USD, maybe $25 to get 500 extra āEā) get more silver orders via the battle pass to be able to access more specific weapons and we have a bit less grind due to the double XP, plus we have more flexibility in having 2 extra squads. For the high-playing players who get squads (canāt really comment on tanks, donāt know much about tanks), they have more firearms to play with but I donāt think theyāre in a āpay-to-winā situation. Iāve dealt some harsh punishment to players who have firearms that are hidden behind a paywall, and I have been dealt some punishment by them too but Iām not finding a āOH THOSE CHEATERS WHO BUY THOSE GUNS FROM BEHIND PAY WALLS AND TAKE EVERYONE OUT WITH EASEā vibe.
A lot of what you said about father/grandfather, civil war, and stuff⦠you lost me. Iām having a very hard time understanding you.
You need to use bronze orders to get weapons randomly and eventually happen upon some mortars. Also, as I recall, the first mortarman you get comes with a mortar so itās not like you have to go without. If you save your silver orders for weapons you ACTUALLY need more of, youāll be much better off. Best not to just use them up only because you want to upgrade some firearms. Also, if you see a firearm coming up that you want and youāre going to reach that level soon, stop using all bronze orders. Then, when you unlock that firearm you want, you can use up all your bronze orders and thereās a high likelihood youāll get more of them. As I had mentioned, I used some bronze orders after unlocking the M2 Carbine and happened to get one that is ONE star from being fully upgraded, which is awesome.
So thereās a strategy involved.
Yes, get used to the grind, even if you unlock the battle pass and get the 2x XP thing that I got, there is still a grind, but it is indeed diminished by putting down the $10-20.
Now, I have information regarding the performance of the M2 Carbine. At the āpracticeā area, the shooting range, I experimented with both standing and crouched (since prone controls the recoil really well anyhow). Crouched, I shot at a relatively nearby target. The targets I shot at were circular and were next to silhouette targets, meaning the one with the outline of a person. The front sight blade reaches from the bottom of the silhouette to the neck, the circular target next to that is the one I shot at from standing. For crouched, the silhouette target next to the round target I shot at, the blade reaches almost from the bottom to the red dot in the middle of the silhouette. This helps you to spot which round targets I shot at. I used the modified M2 Carbine (less recoil) for the targets on the left, and the unmodified one for the targets on the right. The targets I shot at while standing are closer, the ones I shot at while crouched are farther, and no the close target for both M2 Carbines might not be the same distance and the far targets might both not be at the same distance so this isnāt scientific.
The closer target I shot while standing on the rear shooting platforms where the firearms are. The farther target I stood on that next bunker thatās a bit farther, but due to the difference in how much the front blade covered each target, itās obvious that the farther target is still farther away from there than the closer target is from the first bunkers.
For the modified one, I shot some bursts while standing at the close target and almost all rounds hit, over 25 Iām quite certain (shot one full 30-round mag at each target in full-auto). Then, for the farther target with the modified M2, I again shot in bursts and probably stuck to 2-shot bursts, which kinda SOUND like 3-shot bursts but only 2 shots were fired at a time. Again, almost all shots were on-target.
Then, the UNmodified M2, crouching target, almost all shots hit the round target. Then, finally, the farther target I REALLY had to keep it down to 2-shot bursts because 3 shots would pretty much guaranteed have at least one flyer, and indeed I did accidentally let at least one 3-shot group out, possibly two, and the amount of bullet holes on the target reflected my struggle. I think it was 21 hits on target. If I was prone, then the modified one could have easily kept all rounds of every burst on target, Iām sure. With the unmodified one, especially with 2-3 round bursts, maybe even some 4-round bursts, Iām confident I could keep them all on target.
Take what you will from those findings, but no, the M2 Carbine should not be easily controllable from the standing position. I highly suggest sticking to semi-auto unless you are prone, you should see more success that way, especially if you fire relatively slowly while standing upright. Standing is the LEAST efficient way in which to control full-auto recoil while prone is the MOST efficient way to control full-auto recoil.
Bro first
woah you answerd and argoumented that your nice player to chat

I talk of quality of life i really like this game but i want from enlisted whats is supposed to do a squad-tactics game personally from a game i very wanted to try i remain very upset from dev work i repeat i like this game but most of the game give me the nausea i want only play with other people at this game for fun
Thanks for the compliment!
This game can certainly be fun, but it can also be very frustrating, even rage inducing, though in my experience it doesnāt have anything to do with the firearms used against me. Iāve yelled and cursed and pounded my mouse, this game makes me curse like nothing Iāve experienced in months if not years. It can be a torturously difficult game if you go against a really good team, and it can be a laughably easy game if either youāre super in-the-zone and kicking ass and/or you just have an awesome team who are dominating the enemy. Just today I had a match in which I thought I was doing TERRIBLY, ugh, but then I see that actually, I was the best person on my team. Also, several of the top players on the enemy team had something like twice my score which means they did twice as good as I did even though I was the best on my team. Unsurprisingly, we lost.
Thatās just how it is, and I donāt think itās because of free players vs paying players, though I do believe youāll have a better time of it if you AT LEAST get the 2x XP thing, ideally also the battle pass. $20 USD is a reasonable sum to pay, if you can afford it, for an otherwise free game that you spend hours playing, sometimes having a really fun time. I enjoyed theHunter a lot, and thatās a free to play game, but I must have spent at MINIMUM $40 USD on it but I suspect itās more like $60 or more. Itās just plain worth it! I want a hunting game that has lots of features/animals and seems realistic, and I got it! Sadly last time I played there still wasnāt adjustable sights, and animals only rendered within about 220m or so from you so hunting long range is a bit limited, but it was still a lot of fun. I even hunted with some firearms Iāve owned IRL like an M91/30 Mosin with 3.5x PU scope, Mk.III Lee Enfield, and Kar98k! I enjoyed that so very much⦠anyhow, consider putting some money down to make the game less of a grind for you and so you can unlock more of the free content.
I hear that sometimes they give a discount of up to 50% off. I havenāt seen it yet, but when I can, I hope to purchase that M1941 Johnson and squad without putting down any more than $25 USD, and I BEST have some āEā left over to play with or to put towards cutting the cost of another squad/firearm to unlockā¦
thanks for replyng again you are rigth in this game theres good match and bad match and a good squad make difference to a full cod kid squad personally i have the 100$ wall i pay 100$ ad year in f2p i like if his possible because is my way to help the dev and say them im have fun with the game i hope this game reach his very form probably in 2-3 years thanks for the nice chatting even is not in real time its shame dont find good people for chatting like this or playng for the moment in abscense of a chat system and im relieved there other player wo actually play the game for fun
I enjoyed the chat too. I must say, your English grammar made it difficult to understand at times, but it was still a good conversation. Take care.
I also realize that I seem to have possibly included M1/M2 Carbine stuff in the wrong thread⦠derpā¦
