So if im getting this right…
I have to have 10 weapons of the same kind… say Kark98 to disassemble to…
be able to get 30-40 spareparts… (need 30 parts to upgrade) just to…
upgrade 1 weapon said kark98 to by 1 level?? (without upgrading everything in workshop)
so i have to spend like 10 silver cards (to get enough spare weapons for spare parts of a certain type of weapon) just to upgrade one weapon by one level…? (imagine if i wanted to upgrade weapon by two levels) how fkin inefficient… and expensive… just for meagre stat increases on weapon.
is there a better way of doing this??
what if everything in workshop upgraded? how much more efficient or less expensive is it?
explain what is the best way around, best way to approach upgrading your weapons? without paying E ?
It only works that way for the base rifle of each nation. All other guns can get upgrades in the weapon mods section, allowing you to get enough parts to upgrade them after disassembling 4 or so.
spending silver orders for spare parts on guns is a 100% waste.

Yes don’t spend anything on parts for guns!!
Whether you want to spend them on parts for tanks or planes is arguable - if you spend lots of time in those then it may be worth it, but htey are really expensiuve!
For other weapons except the basic rifle - your squads get bonuses for the disassembly and upgrade costs of 1 or 2 weapon types (3 for 1 squad I think!) as upgrades - don’t statrt dismantling weapons until you have got all the dismantle bonus upgrades, and don’t upgrade until you have all the upgrade bonus upgrades!!!
Generally you will only want to dismantle 1 star weapons - you do get more parts for dismantling better weapons, but it isn’t worth it unless you’ve got bucketloads of htem - which can happen later in the campaign.
There are no discounts or bonuses for hte basic rifle that everyone gets.
