Please explain to me how the VG1-5, that I can research in Tier 2 is a Tier 3 weapon, while the MP40, which is at the end of Tier 3 is a Tier 2 weapon…

Hopefully once they feel they have BRs nailed down pretty well they’ll rearrange things a little better
They won’t.
Once they change the places of some items this will fuck over everyone who is currently researching an item that is then placed further back.
They can ‘finish’ the research but they can’t buy it because they “must research and purchase all previous researches in that line”.
Better to leave it as it is and avoid that potential outrage from their point of view.
Well that or they finally abandon this stupid “research everything before” rule but they seem really keen on keeping that one for some reason…

VG1-5 belong to BR2… and they need to buff semiautos RoF

BR and Tier do not have to be correlated.
tier ≠ br
Tier is basically the order in which the weaponry has been determined to be unlocked.
